Just a note to check out the downloads section as I now have pretty much all of my projects uploaded and available here at TBL.

Of course, you're looking at my latest project. I designed this custom TBL skin for us
Quick list of projects I've put up:
Skins:
Minstrel Metal 2005,
Minstrel Metal: Etched Steel and my newest
Minstrel: Whiteout which not a lot of people have seen due to it being completed on the day Susie went offline.
Logo Rinks: Put the teams logo 'under' midice in tactical/game views
NHL, AHL, ECHL, UK
News Item Team Jerseys - Give you a pic of the team's jersey along with team related news items:
NHL/International, AHL, ECHL, EIHL
Icon sets
New NHL Logo, UK, Finnish SM-League
I'll be adding my skin add-on's soon so you can again get the team customizations for my metal skins. For screenshots and more info check the download section.

Any chance of getting JeffR's card-style facepacks on the download station?
I've found a couple of his, A-F & G-P but as you can guess, there are a LOT of cards I am missing.
I have devils88's contributions and I've done a BUNCH of my own, I was hoping with your contacts you'd be able to get the entire set...
Here's to hoping and I really love your site...very well done!

I don't currently have the originals of much of my work, so I would appreciate if people uploaded my action packs to here. I think many people would like to have them.
Good to see the site working after the demise of susie.

You really don't have to worry guys.

We will collect as much as possible, just give us time. It was quite an effort to build this site/community again in order to fit to our visions. We are on the right way. You can help too by making tis place popular.
We will also add Challenges and a Hockey Prediction League.
We've only began

Good to hear from you TWolf, great looking new avatar btw! I have your awards and your national team titlebar logo sets up for you already. Was the staff pictures collection yours too? Who was the goalies action pack done by? They would be really easy for me to zip up and make available as well but I only have them in my game images file I don't have the readme's to sort out who did what.
I don't have the action shots zipped up on my drive, anyone?

Oh yeah! Thanks... all the file and forum stuff has kind of melted my brain. I'm lucky I remember my name lately

On a related note the Staff pack was in fact TWolf's...

Hey Minstrel;
Was wondering about the NHL Team News Jerseys...where'd you find those jersey models? Are that a part of another game or from a website?
I know its like asking a lady her age or a cook their recipe but...I've searched pretty hard and can't find anything that looks as good as yours!
Just curious,
T
EDIT: reason...I found the source...problem then came up, I need some 'vintage' jerseys...can't seem to find a GOOD(even decent) pic of a Whalers jersey...all the luck huh! Thanks again for the look.

No problem, the NHL came mainly from the NHL shop or from River City Sports and Ice Jerseys (just add a .com to the names)... the main problem is that since so many places focus on customizable jerseys you'll often find authentic jersey images that aren't usable.
So I don't mind sharing a few secrets, look for 'replica' jerseys. Even those sometimes fall prey to the customizable graphics and you might have to then look for a child's or if necessary women's jersey. That will often get you a good image. Now that secret is out you may notice a few that were done that way...

My EIHL (UK) set were made from an online auction they had for game-worn/signed playoff jerseys, that's another good source sometimes and there is always Google Image Search as well.
Another issue you'll run accross is finding images of jerseys that are laid flat. Since hockey jerseys are designed to go over shoulder pads etc they are quite wide when laid flat. That doesn't present very well for the news-item style because compensating for a wide image means scaling it quite a bit to fit. So, I present to you the real key to why my sets look the way they do, the "folder jersey trick". Here's an example using the Team Canada jersey, by pulling in the sleeves on both sides by 50% it doesn't distort the picture because it just looks like the sleeves were folded differently. You can see the difference in the size of the jersey and most importantly team logo this gave me. These represent the size I'd have to scale them to to fit in the news items, the one on the right being unaltered. I think it made a huge difference.

Thats really GREAT! Thanks for sharing your secrets and most importantly, your time to do it...you could have left a three word response but you didn't, thank you so much!
The biggest problem I am running into is "mis-matched" types, the BEST vintage stuff is in the 'folded' style but I can't find enough of the rest of the jerseys to make a nice set...I may try to do logos or maybe pucks...frustration was REALLY setting in. You response has helped to 'chill' me a little.
Thanks again and have a great one!
