EHM The Blue Line

Whilst we've still got a little work still to do on the site, we'd like to get your thoughts and opinons on the new site.

What do you like/dislike?
What's missing?
What could be made more accessible?

Answers to questions like these will help ensure that the site remains the number one EHM resource site on the net.

The only thing I can think of that would help is a link from these boards to the home page. Not major at all as both are on my favorites tab, but would save a second or two

Yep, and the frontpage news look a bit messy and hard to tell apart from other.

Maybe bigger font / bolded headlines?

ok im gonna try and be as constructive as i possibly can

1. a link to the main site off the forums (agreed)

2. is it just me or are the forums a touch to wide? just my personal preferance(sp).

3. the main site also seems a touch to wide too?

4. also the news on the front page seems to be overlapping, if you know what i mean?

5. the 'newest files' section seems a little untidy.

6. maybe some new icons in the download section instead of the little yellow folders, something new and unique on TBL.

7. and finally i would change the background colour from that greyish colour to some sort of blue to tie it all into together?

anyway, just my opinions and thoughts not trying to start any trouble....not with that sexy hard fool Archie around

But seriously, thanks for such a big list of constructive criticism. I'll start some discussions about this with the rest of the Admin Team.

There are a couple of forum mods that I've asked Octavian to put on. He said he'd upgrade the Forum this weekend so hopefully if he has time he will put on a couple of mods too.

I've changed the background colour of the site from grey to blue and it looks a heck of a lot better. I've also tried to make the news headers stand out more by making them a dark red.

Minstrel moved the newest files list to the right hand side of the page and has tried to tidy it up a but. I think it looks tidier. It would be good if we could get rid of the icons it shows too, but that's something only Octavian would know how to do.

Good suggestions guys

Good criticism, or better call the ideas. I have about the same feelings on those matters.

I'm going to upgrade the forums this evening.

The mambo file icons are a so callled " " (mambo problem), but I've know how to fix the problem.
