Wage contribution during loans

When a team offers me a loan, who does the wage contribution affect?
Because so-far in my Oulunkylä career game, I've been offered a bunch of loans and they've all been set to 100% wage contribution, while saying at the top of the window that the €x,xxx contract will be payed by (offering team) during the loan period. So I assumed this all meant that the wage contribution was for them. However, I've accepted two loans and both have increased my salary total, which is already far over budget.
Does this mean I've been thinking backwards, and the wage contribution is actually how much of the contract I have to pay?

I thought the same as you. Maybe the AI offers loans only with you paying the 100%. Hmm...maybe I had it backwards too. I wonder if the loans I sent to other teams where I set the contribution to 100% meant I have been paying 0 for those guys.
I wish I could help on this one, but never really followed up on my loans to see.

The team loaning the player, is "contributing" the agreed percentage of the players wage to the team who has contracted him while he is playing for that particular team.
Yes, you had it backwards - you agreed to loan the player and pay 100% of his wage for the time he plays for your team.
Usually this can be negotiated down, so you shouldn't accept it straight away, if they want you to pay the players wage from the time he plays for your team.

Hmmm...interesting. Anyway, I usually play NHL so I am normally loaning out farmhands. When I do that, I don't bother negotiating I just say here you go, and I will pay.
however, when I do play other teams (sometimes CHL, and I must try Europe soon) I will remember this. Thanks Tasku

Usually this can be negotiated down...

Are you sure? Because all the offers I've seen have had the 'contribution' locked at 100%. Which is a shame, because I'm way over my €31,250 budget(by about €20,000) while only having 20 players... I'm in desperate need of free backups.

Well, I only have experience of being the big fat SM-Liiga team, so by "usually this can be negotiated down", I mean it can be negotiated
up from 0%, which is what the team loaning my player usually suggests, to somewhere around 60%.
So, no, I'm not sure - just guessing it should work the other way around as well...

A little off-topic here, but I was wondering, because you said you liked Oulun Kärpät, that maybe you've mistaken Oulunkylä ("Oulu Village" in English) to be somewhere near Oulu, and that's why you picked it as your team?
Oulunkylä is actually a part of Helsinki, located
here
Just thought you should know...

Trust me, I was aware ahead of time.

...
...You oughta see me when I'm unemployed in these games(EHM and FM) - I've got Google maps open the entire time the game's up, and I'm checking the locations of every single somewhat interesting job. It sounds dumb, but I've got some weird thing where I only like playing teams in countries/cities I wouldn't mind being at in real life. And when it comes to foreign jobs, I have two locations I'm attracted to: A. My favourite cities, or B. the capital of the country.
P.S. Thanks for that English translation of Oulunkylä, by the way. While I was playing yesterday, I noticed another team ending in "kylä" and it made me wonder if that was some kind of locational term... kind of like all the "shires" in England.

I used to find the location on map aswell when I played FM, but not so much with EHM, for the simple reason that I always play with either Espoo Blues or Washington Capitals, if I need a change.
And I know where they're located.
I've been thinking of trying other teams, but then I get jealous of who ever is managing my Espoo, and it never works out...
"What is he doing with them!?"
"Why is he not offering Kohn an extension to contract?!"
"Why is he not giving Martin Kariya a first line spot!?"
etc...

By the way, Tasku, while we're on the topic of Oulunkylä...
Since this is the original database(faked), would you happen to know what team Oulunkylä would possibly translate to in the real world and/or an unfaked database?
If it helps, their main colours in the game are just white with green lettering, and the away colours are just red with white lettering.

Looking through my game it seems to be this team :
Oulunkylän Kiekko-Kerho
