Please use this thread to report any data issues you have found in TBL:DB. By "data issues" I mean any mistakes, omissions, etc. regarding the database.

I am not sure about this one...Devils can address it better so when he gets a chance he will. Do you mean there are two "faked" Pat Patricks or two "real" Pat Patricks in the TBL:DB?

In my game I have both S.Pokulok and P.Patrick. Assuming that "faked" Mr.Patrick is a "real" Joe Finley, just thinking about a probability of generating two certain names in one team.... Mathematically, there is not much probability of that to happen. . Maybe next game I'll start there will be Joe Finley and P.Patrick(as "faked" S.Pokulok) there. And what if CPU decides to generate both Patricks??? Game CRASH Just curios.....

Pulled up a fresh game....Just to see with TBL:DB v1.0....There is no Pat Patrick and both Finley and Pokulok appear correct on first glance as unsigned Caps prospects.


Oh and I also notice: Semen Varlamov in the game. However, in real life based on his recent signing in Washington he is known as SIMEON Varlamov. Cannot say I blame him...I know that SEMEN has been his name all the way through from the original EHM Database as he is not faked, but we may want to look at changing the name to be kind to the poor fellow.

Pokoluk is not faked in the original db.
so pat patrick = joe finley. (adjusted this in the Knowledgebase also)

if you start a game with the tbl:db you have both pokoluk and finley and no patrick.

VARLAMOV: Semen is his original russian forename. even on the caps page they call him different. simeon in the news articles and semen in their player profiles

Great work Devils88. Just a small thing I noticed that you didn´t add Pat Kanes Stats from USNDTP. I´ll post them here if anyone is interested in adding them themselves with the pregame editor. I haven´t checked if there is anyone elses stats that´s missing. Once again great work.

Hi Devils88.

I noticed a quite large issue with the database.

In the "extra_config.cfg" file, the US College commitments have not been changed to reflect the now unfaked College names. This results in the players not going to these colleges in the game.

Example :

You need to change "Boston College" to "Boston College Eagles" and so on for all the other Colleges.


And a small thing :
The "Berlin Ice Hall" which Eisbären are moving to is "O2 World".

D88: Thanks for pointing out that error. I'm doing an update at the moment and i will be ready for download soon. Cause it's only the extra_config.file it should be no problem.

I guess I never really look so much into these like everyone else does. I do not really notice the little things like this

Devils88, what starting point do the rosters use? I'm a little confused looking at the CHL rosters (central hockey league) I took a quick glance but found quite a few inconsistencies making me wonder what the cutoff date was. If you would like, since I know the CHL I can help piece it together. For example Colin Johnson never played for Memphis, he played the first 20 games in Wichita and was released. Martin did not play for Austin during the 2006-2007 season he was there the prior year. And if it turns out I'm the only one who plays the CHL I guess I'll just update my own copy.

D88: Hi Thunderbug. I haven't done anything in the CHL cause this League is not faked. The starting point of unfaked leaguerosters is begin of 2006/07 season. i've done roster updates for the UHL which was faked and their player rosters were really from 2004. needed to make many free agent moves and transfers to get them right. you can see all changes in the Knowledge Base . if the rosters are really that inaccurate in the chl we can connect, and update them as they should be at the beginning of 2006/07. although we can inplement them just for the next tbl:db 1.1 release version.

THunderbug--THe rosters were still the default rosters that the EHM game began with. No players have switched teams as of yet. Just names and leagues were unfaked. So all the players would still be assigned to the teams they were in SI's original database....just the names will have changed in some cases.

D88: i've done roster updates for the UHL which was faked and their player rosters were really from 2004/05. needed to make many free agent moves and transfers to get them right. (needed to do them cause there's a veteran limit and some teams would exist only of veterans if i haven't done them) you can see all changes in the Knowledge Base . also in the swiss nlb were many player moves but this league is not playable.
BUT NOTE: these player moves are til starting point of the game (begin 2006/2007)

ah makes a bit more sense now.

Alright found a player in the Central Hockey League that was faked. I'm not sure why but Ken Mason from the Memphis Riverkings is actually Derek Landmesser. His stats are as follows (I didn't check to see if the actual stats were correct but noticed the teams were off. )

Not sure if this is changed or not in the DB as right now my comps acting weird and I cant check. I'll assume it isnt just cause its really out there.

Washington Little Capitals Play in 'Kettler Capitals Iceplex'. At the time of EHM being released they were playing in "The Gardens Ice House". Also Theres NO WAY it seats 1200 On average the website (HERE) says it can seat 800 with standing room for 2200 more (not a chance...)

Also their colors need to be changed to the new caps if thats being done in TBL:DB.

PS. While the game offers a Washington Little Capitals and there is such a team in real life, the game might also mean the Washington Junior Capitals (as the Little Capitals are in the Junior League) Their webstie can be found HERE. The Washington Little Capitals are a development team for the Junior Capitals.

D88...Doing research for the updated rosters noticed this:


Michael Bell....on Chicago roster. Undrafted defensemen who in the game played at Michigan State is actually a FAKED VERSION of

Jordan Hendry. Hendry hockeydb profile.

It is exact same stats, similar birthdates (year the same), same position, same height, similar weight.

There is no Michael Bell listed on Michigan State history...for any time, and not for the time this guy was to have played.

The stats in the game for Bell, are exactly the same numbers for Hendry in uni, just different universities for some reason.

Not sure if you can change this..but thought you would want to know.

Brian Murray playing for Iowa Stars. All same stats, just with wrong teams in College and AHL. Height/Weight pretty much dead on.

He played for Niagara of the CHA. Niagara has only 10 players on the EHM roster which i all unfaked. so i think he is not in the game . btw, many teams from college hockey america and atlantic college hockey have only a few players in the game.

Yeah I had the Niagara and checked em all out. Was wondering if he may be faked as much as the other one up top I found...Jordan Hendry..where nothing makes any sense, cept size, stats, birth year...cause was in the wrong college. I don't know, but not really that important I guess.

Yeah, that's the problem with the undrafted college players.
not on the nhl rosters where only unsigned but drafted players are, and not on the college rosters anymore. so i think you may find some others in the free agents ranks who were not unfaked.
