Stats Prediction League

This idea came from our very own Dave (the one who likes Rangers), where we would predict statistics for teams and players.
The rules are simple: We ask questions, and you give your predictions, of who will win that particular category, or how many points will this particular player score points within the month.
On our first round, we will start predicting stats for October, and no new 'bets' will be taken after October 4th, day before the puck hits the ice, except for the next month, September.
So... these predictions are for October, and you can leave your predictions until October 4th, after which no more predictions will be taken for October, but new betts will be taken for September.
Get it?
No?
Ask then FFS.
Here are the predictions for October (and the type of answer required):
1. Who will score the most points in October? (Answer: name only)
2. How many points will Crosby have by the end of October? (Answer example: 3+9=12)
3. How many points will Jagr have by the end of October? (Answer example: 6+3 = 9)
4. Who will win the MVP of the Month award for October? (Answer: name only)
5. Which team will be leading the Western Conference by the end of October? (Answer: team name)
6. Which team will be leading the Eastern Conference by the end of October? (Answer: team name)
7. How many points will Pittsburgh obtain during October?
8. Who will be the first goalie to post a shutout? (Answer: name only)
9. Who will be the first player to score a hat trick? (Answer: name only)
10. Who will be the first player to score five goals? (Answer: name only)
11. Which team will take the first shootout win? (Answer: team name)
One point per correct answer. Most points by the end of the season will receive glory and recongnizion as the Hockey Wizard of TBL.
Questions will remain the same every month, except for no. 3 and 7, where we will pick the most interesting player / team to follow for that month.
If you have suggestions for questions, you can post them here, as this is sort of a "beta" version. We're testing this game as we play.
Edit: To help making predictions...
Pittsburgh will play 11 games in October (Crosby).
NY Rangers will play 13 games (Jagr).

Short question on number 4...does the NHL decide who should win the MVP of the Month Award?

I was under the impression NHL picks a player of the month every month. Ofcourse I could be totally wrong / confusing some other MVP related thing to NHL. This lock-out makes it hard to remember.
Anyone?
Minty?

You can change your predictions until 4th October, or the last day of the month we are predicting at the moment.
Just edit your post, if you change your mind.

Yeah the year and a half off does not do any favors to your game knowledge/memory, so much so that I'll have to recharge my memory before posting my guesses.
The NHL does in fact announce Player of the Month as well as Player of the Week honors during the season. I was fairly sure they did but my buddy Google confirmed it for me

Sorry for stupid questions, but I thought that it's November after October, not September... or did I missed something?
Alex.

Rule change: Starting next month, predictions will be taken until the seventh day of the month. You can watch Novembers games for one week before posting your predictions for November. After the 7th of November, no more predictions will be taken. Same goes for December and January and so on. The first week is always prediction time (1st - 7th day of the month), where you can ponder and evaluate the teams and players progress.
October however will be locked on the 4th.
Good?
