Couple Questions

First, I was just wondering what year the game stops having real kids as prospects?
and Second, I was wondering if someone can tell me why some players with two way contracts have to clear waivers to go to down to the AHL and some don't. Does it have to do with games played or what?
Thanks

I know that the answer to your first question maybe someone can help you with the second, im only good with prospects
I know that the first year draft is full of real prospects, providing you have downloaded Devils awesome TBL:DB, in the 2008 draft they also have the correct players, for the first 4 or 5 rounds at least, and have some good Europeans still there, Mikkel Bodker for 1, but in 2009 the talent of real players is slim, i know that John Tavares is there and Steve Anthony, but other than that, i believe there are none, unless you create these players using the database,
hope that helps, Getz
P.S. Welcome to TBL

, be sure to introduce yourself in the "Arrivals" section.

2 way contracts as nothing to do with the waiver rules.. you can give a 2 way contract to a veteran if you want. Its the year spent playing pro that count for this rule.

If you are using an unfaked database there are players up until 2010. But as mentioned earlier, there are very few real guys.
There is a more recent 'updated unfaked' database out there with updated attributes for players and more prospects.

Okay guys, I'm locking this thread. We want to stay away from vaguely titled threads like "couple questions" because there would be a million of them and they'd all probably be asking questions that have been answered many times over.
FromChaos got the answers two his couple questions. Moving forward, let's try to keep subject lines descriptive of the actual thread or even better, continue off an existing thread of the same subject.
Thanks!
