Running off a flash drive?

I'm wondering if it is ok to run this game off of my flash drive? My main concerns are portability between here and work (I get an hour lunch, and that would be sweet to be able to play during it). The drive is 4 gb, so size shouldnt be too big an issue.

Other than concerns with licensing, can you see any downfall to this?

I don't think it is possible, as the game installs several things to the main drive and the registry database - probably also the license among these.

You could install the game at home, and at work (you should have two licenses), and then use the flash drive for the savegame only. Then you could play both places :)

Like ElQuapo suggested, install the game at both home and work. Then use your flash drive to transport the save file back and forth. I do this all the time.

I seriously doubt it. I would think it would have to have a windows or mac operating system and meet the system requirements for the game. It's not really meant to be run on anything other than a computer.

I have managed to run it from my flash drive without a problem. The license must be installed on a computers harddrive, If I remember correctly, because the game creates a folder automaticly (where the games and preferences are saved). You don't have to install it on the computers hard drive, though. You can have it installed on the falsh drive, but install license on the computer.

Here's my quote from SiGames forum about it.
It works perfectly, I have just copied the whole EHM 07 folder to my usb key and I can play the game directly from it. I had to enter the purchase code, of course and set new preferences and all the stuff which are kept in My Documents folder. If you also want to transfer your saved game, you need only one file (gamename.sav), which is also in SI folder in My Documents.

In regards to the only needing to move your save game file, my computer has died....well let's not get into that, but, it has died a few times, and the first time it happened I managed to save some files while it was dying, however I needed my database as well, I don't think I can just send you a sav. game and it'll work....at least it never worked for me, maybe i did something wrong, though.
