EHM The Blue Line

Hi,

I'm managing the Flyers for my 3rd season as General manager. I let head coach coaching the game, I have Dave King as head coach. And Greg Poss as assistant manager.

On my first two season I always used a roster with 22 players, 2 goalies, 7 def, and 13 forwards.
Everything worked fine, the head coach alterning and benching some players.

But this season it's a totally different story and I don't understand what's happening.

On two consecutive week I DON'T KNOW WHO but I got message that Ethan Moreau was putting on the waiver after a performance of 1G, 1A and having 6 pts in the 8 first games. And obviously he was claimed from the waiver by another team.
The week after, same story but with Bobby Ryan, at that time Ryan was on the the Injury list for 7 days AND he is the first scorer of my team.

WHO'S MAKING THAT MOVES ?

This is not funny at all. I read a lot on this forum but I didn't find any answer.
I'm sure that someone could give me some answer before that I put this game on the garbage can.

What should I do ? What I'm doing wrong ?
I don't want to coach the team, I just want to manage MY TEAM as general manager.

It sounds like you are going on "Vacation" and allowing your AGM to make personnell moves. There are settings in the "General Managers Options" screen that supossedly prohibit this. IIRC, though, I ran into similar problems when I was just trying to sim by way through a couple of seasons. Even with the settings set to "Leave my bloody team alone!", some transactions still occured.

But IMHO, if you are simply setting up the roster and then vacationing for extended periods, you are missing a lot of the game.
