I have the last patch 3.0.4 and playing with the TBL Rosters 2007-08 v1.5 database so I am trying to play my first season and I am on Nov 22, 06 and every time I coach the next game on that day it crashes after 5mins into the first period. I searched here and couldn't find anything on it happing to anybody else or recently on the SI forums. Anybody know how to fix this?

Nope has not happend to me. Or anyone else to my knowledge. Not sure what is up...maybe your d-base got corrupted. Are you getting an error message? Or is it that the game just freezes. If it just freezes, it is not crashing. Just not responding, and you just have to wait it out.
Now...are you able to vacation through it?

when I go to play the game on that day and watch it. It will start playing into the first 5minutes of the first period the crash to the desktop. No error warrings but I was editing the database before I started the season and had the saved game uncompressed then re compressed it the last time I saved so I wonder if that had anything to do about it.
I tryed vaction and still crashed to dest top

I would re-download the database, delete your old copy of it, and start a new game. It sounds like there might be some corruption there.

was hoping it wasn't going to come down to that but at least its only in my first season. So dose this mean I can't change players attributes before I start another game or use the editor at all?

Try using the Pre-Game editor instead. I'd imagine that would cause a smaller risk of crash.
You compressed / decompressed the save file, so I assume you used the Save Game Editor?

yes once and I just started another game went on holidays right up till that date to see if it will do it again. Simmed it and nothing happened so it looks like the saved game editor screwed it up.

The saved game editor would be good if you wanted to change someone's potential ability if it was too low for you. If you want to make sure the players on your team have ability scores more to your liking from the start, then use the pre-game editor.
Trying to change a lot of things with the saved game editor is just asking for trouble.
