at least i decided to go for a TBL Russian Superleague Facepack. would take some time for different reasons (pic quality and lack of action pics, kyrilic language etc.)
the kyrilic languague kills a lot of time. i must online-translate every name to get a clue who this player is...

just want to ask if someone on the board is interested in searching for good action pics of the russians.

If I remember correctly, didnt Jacknife do a pack a while pack purely of russian league action pics?

RSL was actually on my list too, but Id gladly scratch that one from my to-do list. Im busy enough working on my 2008-2009 database.

I looked around some of the team's official homepages, and many of them have photogalleries.

One major problem though is that its mostly photos without descriptions - not even in Russian. So its a game of matching Shirt-numbers with playernames in the rosterlists... not much fun at all.

I don't think we have many Russian regulars on our site. If you can get hold of Kidhander then he might be of some help.

Feel free to use my mugshots for the mugshot part of the cards - then you only need to find action pics and not repeat the work I did with translating names when looking for mugshots.

If you want my help too, its there.

The Russian super league was on my list as well.

At the moment I'm a little busy with doing a card pack for the French Magnus League., But I have like only two teams to go. So once I have finished it (probably in afew days) I can give you a hand if you want it.

@El Quapo: Thanks, i will use some of the mugshots, saves some searching time.

@andyjayp: If you help me searching good actionpics for the Superleague it will be great. found many photogalleries on the official homepages, but without description. that means we must first translate the rosters and then check up the jersey numbers with the right playernames. so searching time will be the most difficult part. i suggest to make them team by team.

I just have to heck my French Mangus pack and I should then be ready to start work on the task of search thy internet for Russian players.

Just one question what sesaon is the card pack going to be for.. is it going to be for last years season 07/08 or the 06/07 season.

Was just wondering if anyone has made, or is going to make an NHL pack with all the New Jerseys? Personally I think that'd be awesome, I'd do it myself but I don't have photoshop:(

When I first read that I thought you were on a bout a card pack with all the New jearsy Devils in it, for some reason. But I'm guessing you were actually on about the new jerseys for the upcoming season??

I was thinking about doing a card pack for the upcoming NHL sesaon, but as so many people do card packs for the NHL. CHL and WHL. I thought there was no piont, So I'm focusing my energies in the euopean leagues.

Yeah no idea why I put capitals on the "new jerseys" I blame it on tiredness But yes I mean the NHL new, Reebok Edge jerseys.

Well if no one is thinking about doing pack with the new jersey's. I'll surely think about.

But right now I'm helping D88 with his russian superleauge pack.

So once thats all finished I'll certainly give it a bash....

i suggest to do the search team for team. each of you should pick 3 or 4 teams remaining and search for actionpics, so we do n't cross our paths and double search.
if alessandro has some secret "links" maybe he could share them with us (via private message), i use only google search and the official sites. the cards should be for season 2007/08.
i will post a list of players (from the five teams above) i didn't find any good pics, at the weekend. maybe alessandro (or any other) could find a good actionpic of them.
