To what extent can Loyalty be bearable??

Imagine your team is the wortst im the league for 10 years,
illoyal players making big money,
staff can't draft any good prospect even with high choices,
the other teams even stop laughing.

Could you ever imagine to change the team you support?

I think it all depends on why one likes his/her team.

If it's a home-town-team thing, then loyalty is infinite and nothing they do should matter as long as they remain your home team.

Other than that, it's a team-by-choice thing... and I guess loyalty will be broken once the team no longer upholds what the fan-in-question once liked.

I would never stop cheering for my team. It is not the team that sucks. It is the management (In your example)

I'm with Manimal on this one. I would never stop cheering for my team. I've been watching pants decisions, crapy play and bad attempts to aquire a proper team, drunks and hasbeen nhl goons as coaches for 7 years in a row now, the exception being the shut-down season, when the team was actually very good.

But yeah, convicted to a lifetime sentence as an HIFK fan, what can i do :dunno:

I can cheer for different NHL-teams, as I don't have the heart for them as for Djurgården. I can't see me ever cheer for another swedish team.

When my love affair with Detroit began, they were called the "Dead Things". If I stuck with them through the awful eighties, I don't figure I quit now. :D
