EHM The Blue Line

Just wondering if anyone has done a set of NHL rinks that have the ice ads in the neutral zones? I am no graphic artist by any means, but I was wondering if anyone has done this or if anyone has any interest in this. i.e., even if it is possible. I would be willing to help out with any phase of this project if anyone is interested. I think that it would really add to the enjoyment of watching the games. Anyways, just a thought.

Can't be done. I already tried on day one or two of the game's release.

The reason why it can't be done is because the new 2D rink has "hotspots" or "windows" for graphics. And these windows are the only spots that will display graphics.

Unfortunately, the game won't load an image if it's not the default size... so it doesn't work to simply make an existing graphic bigger to make room for ads.

I'm not sure this can even be done? I know you can have them underneath each faceoff circle. But, for example, if you expand the centre ice logos so that they are 200x200 pixels rather than their current 100x100 that they are now. Who knows?

Logo
Ad Ad.

If that makes sense.

that sucks because adding them would add some nice realism to the games. Oh well, I guess it gets filed into the suggestion box for the next version which I hope is coming soon!

Verified. Long time ago.

EHM 2008 and 2009 would've already been out by now if they would've.

It was announced by SI over a year ago that they had ceased development of the game. Do a search here and you'll find a whole thread on it.

I have read it, but I also read that SI might bring it back once they find a way to stop the piracy, at least that's what I remember reading.

Yeah, but the piracy will probably take several years to stop, if you ever can.
