Lidas Database 1.1

This database updates NHL, AHL, ECHL, CHL, IHL, EPHL, OHL, NCAA, Swedish Elitserien, Swedish Allsvenskan, Swedish Juniors, Finnish, Russian, Czech Republic, Danish, Norwegian, and Swiss rosters to the 2008-09 season.

Changes made on the original database (2008.03.01 TBN Updated Unfaking Database):

- NHL rosters, contracts, staff, player rights, and abilities according to the "Shaddsheet".
- Added rights to players drafted in the NHL 2007 and 2008 Entry drafts + edited their abilities according to the "Shaddsheet".

- Swedish Elitserien promotions/relegations, rosters, contracts, staff, attributes, abilities, and team info.
- Swedish Allsvenskan promotions/relegations, rosters, contracts, staff, attributes, abilities, and team info.
- Swedish Junior rosters, staff, attributes, and abilities.

- Kontinental Hockey League (RUS) promotions/relegations, rosters and head coaches.
- Czech O2 Extraliga promotions/relegations, rosters and staff.
- Finnish SM-Liiga rosters, contracts, and staff.
- Danish AL-Bank League rosters and head coaches.
- Norwegian GET-League promotions/relegations, rosters, and head coaches.

- AHL league structure, rosters and staff.
- ECHL league structure, rosters and staff.
- NCAA rosters and current/potential abilities.

- Increased the age of ALL players and staff in the database by two years. (44000+)
- All transfers posted at Eurohockey.net since March 1st 2007. (10000+)
- Most changes suggested at the TBN board since March 1st 2008.

- NHL, AHL, and ECHL team affiliates.
- North American league structures.
- Traded future NHL and OHL draft picks.
- Unfaked a lot of Swiss players.
- Set thousands of birthdates, which were randomized in the default database.
- Thousands of new staff and players have been created, mostly by overwriting retired/invalid players.
- Many other leagues are partly updated, and will be completely updated in future versions.

- IHL Rosters and squad numbers.
- EPHL Rosters and squad numbers.

- RSL Squad numbers and abilities according to the "Shaddsheet".
- FIN Squad numbers and abilities according to the "Shaddsheet".

- CZE Squad numbers.

- NHL Long-time injures. (Injury types are not same as IRL, but lenght is.)

- Removed Youngstown Steelhounds from ECHL and created/added Rapid City Rush.
- Removed Toledo Walleye, Colombia Inferno, and Pensacola Ice Pilots from IHL and made them inactive.
- Moved Edmonton Oil Kings from IHL to Alberta Junior Hockey League.
- Created four new teams + players (EPHL league - Brooklyn Aces, Danbury Mad Hatters, Hudson Valley Bears, and Jersey Rockhoppers) and placed them in IHL.
- Adjusted NHL player contracts.
- Adjusted abilities and created players from ISS 2009 Top 30 Preliminary Ranking.
- Adjusted abilities and created players from NHL Scouting Service Preliminary Rankings Fall 2008.
- Added Junior and/or farm teams to the teams in the updated European leagues.
- Moved and created teams to PJHL.
- Added draft dates to players drafted 2007 and 2008.
- Added international retirements.

- Various transfers.
- Various attribute/ability changes.
- Created hundreds of new staff and players.

Due to hard coded league structures, some teams are not in the same leagues as they are in real life. Two AHL teams (Lake Erie Monsters and Rockford Icehogs) have been placed in ECHL, IHL has been merged with the new EPHL into "EIHL", and Edmonton Oil Kings are in AJHL. The KHL teams Barys Astana, Khimik Voskerensk, and Torpedo Nizhny Novgorod have been placed in Vysshaya league. Dinamo Riga and Dinamo Minsk remain in their national leagues. Danish AL-Bank League Totempo HVIK (Hvidovre) remain in the Danish First Division. Austin Ice Bats are in CHL, even though they will not return there until the 2009-2010 season.

As somebody who has been playing EHM for years now, this is awesome! Thank you very much for your continued work on this.

I do have one question though. I downloaded the first version you released, but I think it was the beta version, and attributes were not updated. In the OP here, it says the attributes were updated. So was 1.0 the first version to have that update, or was I just not seeing them in the beta version? Sorry if this is in the discussion thread, I thought this would be easier.

BTW, I look forward to discussing this game with this great community, here's to keeping EHM alive!

Great work on the OHL and i want to see the samething in the QHJML next time! It's awesome! I guess i'll play with the OHL the couple of next weeks for sure!

Now is it just me or is the scouting system not as indepth as the 1.0 version.?

The pressure is on racicot, our Q researcher. Lets hope he can do an as awsome research as Manimal did on OHL.

What exactly do you mean by "scouting system"?

well before when I scouted players the scout report game alot more info than the new version.

In this version I have scouted alot of players and haven't seen a "projected player comparison" whereas every player had one on V1.0.

Nothing to do with the database.Lidas cannot change the way scouting works. That is had coded into the game. Reports are reports. Issue could be a crummy scout, or just that that player has no player to compare to. Would not go by it anyway as to how you pick players. I think it once called Jagr a similar but bigger version of Brendan Morrison...um yeah.

Only real problem that I've seen is that Lake Erie has been incorrectly placed. Currently it is categorized as an ECHL team, when it is actually an AHL team. Other than that everything else seems to be fine.

Yes. and I'm fully aware of that problem (its also mentioned in the readme file).

The reason why its there is because AHL can only host 27 teams in the game whereas it has 29 teams IRL. (The other team missing is Rockford IceHogs)
