Norris trophy for a part-time forward?

I'm wrapping up my NHL regular season and my defensemen Brent Burns is the league's top scoring defensemen and in the top 5 for several defensive categories. However, I played him on the wing for about 15 games. His stats wouldn't be as impressive if I don't count the games that he played as a forward. Will EHM consider Burns for the Norris or will they not count the stats that he got as a forward?

I believe he will still be counted as his primary position is a defensman. Although i may be wrong about that...

What Getzlaf15 says makes sense.

In NHL 05, in our online league, Jovanovski spent an entire year at LW or RW and scored 55 goals and won the Norris.
