Foreign nationalities

Does anyone know who counts as a "foreigner" in KHL?

I guess players from the "old Soviet Union" (Belarus, Kazakhstan, Ukraine etc.). Since Dinamo Riga are playing there, I guess Latvian players are ok too, but how about Estonia and Lithuania?

Also, do Czech players count as foreign players in the Slovakian league and vice versa?

Are there any other leagues you know of where some nationalities don't count as foreign?

Was thinking of adding dual nationalites in my database to get around these rules, but I need to know what rules that are in play first. All help apprechiated.

I'm currently working on adding Russian nationality to players from former Soviet countries, does anyone know the answer to the question I asked a while ago?

My quess is that foreign player is a player that has not a same nationality than the team where he's playing.

I have a question about nationality and foreigners, I will use this thread as i can´t find any better. Can players after a couple of years get a second nationality, let´s say a swede plays in the Norwegian UPC league for 5 years will he get a second nationality and so for doesn´t count as foreigner any more?

You can see and edit in editor how many years player needs to play in that country before he can get a second nationality. It's in the "Nations" section. A value zero means (I think) no-one can become that nation's citizen by playing.
