EHM The Blue Line

Hiya!

I just finished updating QMJHL (thanks Racicot!), so I thought I'd upload a new version to the site.
This will be the last 2008/2009 update, but don't worry. I've already started working on the 2009/2010 update.

- Quebec Major Junior Hockey League rosters, staff, and squadnumbers.
- Adjusted abilities and created players based on NHL Scouting Service Final Rankings.
- Greatly reduced the number of players with highly randomized potential (-15,-14).
- Edited League Reputations.
- Edited NHL and AHL team colours.

- Various transfers.
- Various attribute/ability changes.
- Created hundreds of new staff and players.

thanks so much for the updated database. i hadn't played this game in a year and a half or more, and now i can't stop playing. thanks again for all the hard work. i didn't realize how much i had missed playing EHM.

Great work. But you still need some work on the Danish league. Some players are not good enough and some players are in the wrong teams.
So if you need any help to Danish player and league then send my a mail or PM here.

Okay i will help you. I have played in Denmark my self for Frederikshavn White Hawks and Aarhus Crocodiles. And my uncle is ass. choach for Fr.havn White Hawks so i no a little bit about danish hockey.

All I know about the danish league is what I have read, which isn't much at the mo. Tomorrow I'll PM you with some details about what I'm doing.

Sounds good.
Are you making all danish player? Like Mikkel Boedker, Jannik Hansen and Frans Nielsen? Or just the dansih league?

It'll be a roster update for the Danish leagues. So all players will be on the correct teams and any players who are not in the database will be included.

Hope that answers youre question.

could someone tell where to go to find out how to use these rosters in the game.

i have been trying and looking everywhere for the last 2 days just can't figure it out

When you unzip the database there is a "Read Me" file. At the bottom of the file there are instructions as to where to place the unzipped database. Also, on the other post you made in the "Game Knowledge Discussion," one of the Moderators added a link to the explanation of what-goes-where.

It would be helpful if you could elaborate on your problem(s) in your post, ie:

"Hey guys, when I unzip the DB how do I navigate to the EHM 2007 folder?"

or

"Hey guys, when I install the DB in the EHM folder I get an error on startup. The error states: "


Let us know exactly what you are having trouble with.

But yeah, when I install the roster it works and all, but the players in the UFA pool arent retiring like they're supposed to. I sim a couple days and players like Primeau & Forsberg and getting offers and signing with teams

I never had to unzip the database and I just looked and didn't see a read me file. What happens when I download the new Lidas 08/09 roster v1.3 I put it in the EHM folder and I guess it does what it should but I don't see it in that folder when I open it. But when I go to start a new franchise it still has the old rosters. I read the link that the Moderator gave me but none of it really applied to what I was having trouble with, and I feel like I don't have some of the folders that people talk about.

Right now I'm redownloading EHM 2007 so we will see what happens. I'll appreciate if you help me one more time.

The first thing I tried to do was duplicate your problem:

I just started a new game with the Lidas 1.3 DB and used the North American Starting date of August 30th. The first thing I noticed when I searched the players and filtered by age was all of the "Ret" next to the old guys. When I hit continue and go to the next day they are all gone, and there is a big announcement about all of these guys who are retired. I did not see Forsberg or Primeau on the NHL Hall of Fame list, but when I searched for them they were gone. (Retired)

I realize your situation may be different and I have a few questions for you:

Is your game patched to 3.0.4?
What version of the rosters are you using?
When you start a new game, do you know how to select the new rosters?
Have you changed anything in the "Extra Config" file or used a Pre-Game editor?

First you should try and re-download the Lidas 1.3 DB and then unzip it. Inside that folder is another folder with the Read Me file and the actual database.

If that doesn't work, when you re-install EHM 2007, you should have a directory of Sports Interactive // NHL Eastside Hockey Manager 2007. This will be on your hard drive that has all of your program files.

Inside that is a folder called "data," and inside that folder is another called "database." This is where you place the new Lidas 1.3 DB.

Also, as with the other post before yours, make sure your game is patched to 3.0.4
