Well i don´t know if anyone did know him, but since we´re a hockey community i thought you might wanna know it.

This wednesday germany´s and Kölner Haie goalie Robert Müller lost the fight against cancer. He had one last game in November 2008, but then in december his sickness got much worse. He always tried to visit every game of HIS sharks, and was even at the last season of the game to wish Captain Dave McLlwain a nice retirement. But then he finally lost his final game...

I still can´t believe it... i just wanted his jersey for next year...

Very sad... Last year Cherepanov, now Müller... I remember when he saved shots in World Championships.

What a Adam Oates! He fought like a bull and God gives him a kick ass! Germany lost not only one of the best goalkeeper, but also a great personality and a fair sport man!

Tragic. I remember him; short guy, very small for a goalie by modern standards, quick and agile, consistently one of the best players in the German national team. RIP.

In finland, Eetu Pöysti is currently fighting against the same cancer that Koivu had.
Eetu is brother of Finnish miss Essi Pöysti.

Cancer is somewhat ''non-hodking'' or something like that!



But most saddest thing is here, he is only 19 years old

Plays in HIFK Helsinki and is really promising player, will be decent SM-League player.
