EHM The Blue Line

Ok, before all of you go 'pffffft, amateur', i am WAY ahead of you in doing that to myself..ha! Anyway, when '07 came out i downloaded the demo, and then uninstalled it figuring i would stick to '05 ehm for awhile. Now i am going to download and then buy it (yay!). My question is: after i download it, i assume i just need to download the latest patch as well for that will cover all the previous patches? And when i download the patch, whill it prompt me as to how and where i am supposed to stick it? (insert joke here). Thanks for all and/or any help in advance!

If you downloaded the demo after the final patch was released then you probably won't need to download any patches. I believe they updated the demos (i.e. try'n'buy versions) whenever they released a new patch. If you load the game and go to the Preferences" screen, it will tell you at the top what version you currently have. If it says version 3.0.4 then you have the latest version of 3.0.4.

You are correct in assuming the latest patch covers all of the previous patches. So if you the EHM 07 demo and it's not version 3.0.4 just download the latest patch and it cover you. Don't worry about where to stick it - just download it to your desktop or a temporary folder somewhere. When you run the patch, it knows where to find EHM and will do everything for you. Once you've run the patch, you can just delete it

I didnt want to open a new topic for a similar problem, so i just write it here and hope someone can help me.

I havent played my EHM for some months now and a few weeks ago i decided to upgrade my XP to Vista. So this morning i thought it was time to play some EHM again...i downloaded the "try n buy" thing as i dont have my old file anymore, downloaded the latest patch and installed the game. However, neither can i start the game nor can i enter my code to make it a full version. So does EHM simply does not work with Vista or what did i wrong?
