LidasDB2.0 WHL - Teams

WHL has one team too much - one team needs to be re-located. Which one? In the 1.3 DB I had Edmonton Oil Kings re-located, but I figure we should change it to a team which performed worse. The last season, 4 teams finished under 0.400. Which team needs to go?
Prince George Cougars - 53p - 0.368
Chilliwack Bruins - 45p - 0.312
Portland Winter Hawks - 43p - 0.299
Moose Jaw Warriors - 41p - 0.285

I'd say go with the lowest points. Sort of a relegation. Next year they'l be up again

That actually makes a lot of sense, Manimal. I had actually voted for Chilliwack, even though they're a "Bruins" team. The other three just have more of a "WHL" sound to them. I know it doesn't make sense.

It does make sense to me, because I've voted for the same reason against Chuwaquee!
(.. and also to make the decision for Lidas as difficult as possible with equal votes for two teams!

)

I voted for Chilliwack Bruins, too.
Pitty that Moose Jaw Warriors lead now. They're long time member of WHL so it would be bad to loose them in DB.

Actually, it makes a lot of sense to me

, I have the same philosophy when voting in similar polls.

Still pretty even. I'll wait with my final decision a while longer.

I think that sounds fair. I like the idea that they'll be back the following season in place of the worst performing team (unless it's the same team again).
I see McQwak's point about it being a shame to lose a long serving WHL team but I guess it's the fairest way. Anyway, time will tell when a few more users vote...

This is just my opinion but why not take out the weakest team in the division that the Edmonton Oil Kings are in?

Portland, Chilliwack and Moose Jaw have better histories than Prince George...plus Prince George is literally in the middle of nowhere geographically speaking.
Not that either of these points has any bearing on the game, but my vote goes for moving Prince George.

I voted Chillwack beacause Kelowna and Vancouver just beat up on them in EHM, whenever they play is basically a guaranteed 2 points for them. And beacause a buddy of mine is on Moose Jaw, they should stay

Prince George Cougars are the worst team in the league pts wise.

This season, yes. But teams don't get relegated in October, they do after the season.
Moos Jaw will play in the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League
