Following on from the 300th user, TBL now has over 5,000 articles posted. Admittedly most of these were by Minstrel, but it's very impressive nonetheless. Well done all

:D Actually, my post count is 50% more than Minty's
But having said that, his are more than twice the quality of mine!

But yeah, the number of articles has been growing at an increasing rate. It just shows how far the site has come over the past 15 months or so. Hopefully we'll continue to grow bigger and bigger :toast:

Personally, I'd like the next milestone to be beating the current record of having 14 users on the Forum at one go! :-D

Fair point, I guess I'm thinking of the last few months, that fantasy hockey sure boosted his count

I've never fully understood what articles meant anyway, I assume it means posts, but why doesn't it say posts?

Actually, if you look at the number of Posts per day, he's kicking my ass. Just goes to show how much hard work the guy puts into the site, especially the fantasy hockey and the challenges. You guys don't see the invisible Admins Forum but if you did you would be shocked to see the huge amount of preparation that Minty puts into things like the Challenge.
:notworthy: :badcop:

I agree with you. I'll see if I can have a poke around and change it so that it says "posts".

Changed it. Do you think that looks better? I think it does

Makes a lot more sense, great work as usual =D>

Ya know, it might seem like a very small thing in the grand scheme but it's things like being able to look at that and say "that should say 'posts' instead" and doing it that has made being back in complete charge here at TBL so rewarding =D>

Small but symbolic I guess. Viva La TBL!!! :groupwave:

I agree, it's the speed that the staff at TBL make changes that show how in-tune they are with us mere mortals ;) Truly, this is the only site I know where the staff would respond so quickly to requests, combined with incredible knowledge.

Hehe :D

I was online at the time and 15 of them were guests. It's somewhat unusual to have that many guests looking at the site at once. The Search Engine Bot Detector script of the Forum didn't detect the IP addresses of them as bots. I still thought they were, so I did some WHOIS lookups on some of the IP addresses but they weren't linked to bots. :-k

There has been at least 9 guests at all times this morning, seems a bit strange, but hopefully that will be 9 new members by the end of the day ;)

Lurkeritis is a fairly common thing really... if it weren't for it you would see people post things like "I've been reading for a while but just decided to post" etc. or calling in to sports radio saying they are a "first time caller, long time listener" :-D Some people just don't want to be bothered for whatever reason to take the few moments to actually create an account. :dunno:

Hey lurkers! Sign in and tell us who ya are! :-) Maybe that will help?

Most users broken again, over 100,000 views and wont be long before 10,000 posts and 500 users. All seems well with TBL, long may it continue =D>

Very true... these are fun times! :joy: I'm not sure how many non-Challenge players check in on the Challenge threads or the stats at our GLR recording site but another measure of activity is we'll have darn near fifteen GMs in the Carolina 2.1 Challenge :-o Even I wouldn't have estimated we'd reach that number in only our second TBL GM Challenge.
Of course, this really the time that we thank you all for contributing to the TBL community. Thanks guys!!
