EHM The Blue Line

Didn't find a subject about this, so started a newone.

So what is the purpose of this guy? In my game I got this text:
"The team secretary has made an entry in your diary to remind you to contact "players name" today."
The player in question is not yet drafted and is in my shortlist.
Do I have to do something or can I just ignore this? What does he mean by contact?

Has this even came up in your games before?

There are no secretaries in EHM. That's just a cosmetic thing for these particular messages.

These messages come up when you have a note set for a player, with a reminder date set. When the reminder date arrives, that message comes as the reminder... with the secretary and diary bit just to make it look good.

As for contacting him, also fluff. That simply means to go do with the player whatever it is you had in mind when you made the note.

Check the player's 'Information' page. There should be a line in there for any notes you've created about him.
