Hey all, I was wondering who would be interested in a mock draft for this years draft?? AND someone who thinks they could run a really good mock draft as well. If people are interested, say what team you want.

Sorry if I'm completely out, but what 'mock draft' means? Do you plan to simulate real NHL draft? I didn't find here any previous mock activity, so I guess it's new this season, isn't it? How do you plan to realize it? Some rules?...

A mock draft is a simulation of a real draft. It can be done with any sport that has a draft, and it's usually done by various media sources. Whoever is doing the mock draft will basically gather all of their experts for that sport, and have them go through the upcoming draft, pick-by-pick, predicting who each team will select.

My girlfriend and I make an annual pilgrimage to the Perani's Hockey Store up in Livonia, Michigan around this weekend and when we saw that the game was in Plymouth, we just decided to make it a huge hockey day.

Set up a new thread with all the picks (all 7 rounds) in order and then update it as we draft. Just make it look spiffy and well organized. Im not a very organized person which is why im backing out of running it

We're doing that whole 7 rounds...?

That won't be hard I can do it, we just need someone for all the teams. But, since the sens are gunna win the cup I won't have much fun:(

Still a lot of teams left. What time frame would you want to do it? Are we going to wait until they announce the draft or take the best educated guess.

we'll do it as soon as soon as reg-season ends, if not all the teams are taken, some people will have to take two

I'll take the Lightning seeing as how the Hawks are gone! At least they'll have a bit a choice where they are expected to land!
