I don't really know if this is even ever gonna happen, but if you guys want to suggest anything for CAS 3, named
Become a NHL Legend!, is appreciated.
If I'd just get a 20 of you

in I'd be glad to run a small simulation.
When I get everything setup and all the things I need I'll post a signup thread.
Anything, I really want to run this but I need your help!

What exactly have I quit....? Your thread title suggests I have done something wrong

or screwed people over half way through a season or something?
My final saved game was 7 days, 6 hours, 43 minutes worth of play time. That's 174 hours of play time, add on to that 7gbs of saved games, 666mbs of pictures - that's 3,374 pics in total. Add to that setting up a website, uploading all of the pictures & stats.
Anything less than 100% effort when running this will mean it will turn out to be a disappointment and end up with users being let down. That's why I decided to take some time before starting a new one/if I run a new one.
Nothing to do with me quitting anything....

Nicely put, Calv!
Honestly, CAS is something we end up having lots of people involved in. It's a very popular thing at TBL. We end up getting so many lurkers coming out of the woodwork to join in on this. Anything less than the colossal effort that Calv puts in to it just wouldn't satisfy everyone. And limiting it to a small group of participants would be like Lidas doing his updates but only including the Central Division of the NHL. It's got to be an all or nothing sort of thing.

I can attest to how difficult this is having run one of my own at one time. The constant simulating and screenshot taking of each individual is not only time consuming, but repetitive. Not only that but you have to upload them and maintain a good website; it's literally so much work its not even funny.
Then you have people constantly wanting updates thinking that it only takes you 5 minutes to do it...
Ugh. You're a good man Calv.

Not a big fan of your thread title axwel.
It seems dismissive of all the work that goes into running this. If you think you are going to be able to quickly crack something together yourself, I think you're going to be put off by the amount of time and work that it takes. Especially if you open it up to anyone who wants to participate - as Calv did.
Just my .02. You're the man Calv.

Yeah, it was not offensive... Sorry for whining.
"Since Calv has not the time" I'm really sorry for that.
But those numbers are huge, and I know that's a lot of work. But I think I can work it out somewhen since I'm a student.
But those comments were not really helpful. I'm really sorry if it offended you, Calv.
