Adjusting Reserve List

Hi guys, noob question I know, but whatever. At times I get the reserve list notifications on news, and what I have done thus far is that I have placed AHL players on waivers since nobody ever claims them, but now I have ran out of AHL players that I haven't placed on waivers yet (oh what a tactic =D> ) and after a while the game realizes this and I have to adjust it again.
The problem is that I have tried to Release Rights to Non-Contracted players - aka Unsigned, appearing green on reserve list - which the game tells me counts as taking a player off the list, but instead of this happening I just lose the rights but it still does not take a player off the number of players in the list.. What am I doing wrong/what else is there to do? Am I missing a way of doing it or do I need to sell players away? :dunno:

You can have max. 50 players contracted. It may be that you've got over that limit.

Meaning that I have to sell/release/trade for draft picks/buy out my players or get them claimed from waivers until I got 50 players on roster?

Hey!

I know it's an old post, but does anyone knows how to remove the reserve list or at least to increase the maximum players needed?

Thank you

If you are referring to the latest EHM, there is no way I know of to change/remove the reserve list. In real life, NHL league rules specify no team can carry more than 50 contracts at one time.
