Goalkeeper always injured

I'm playing with Nashville and have some really big problems with Rinne always getting injured during games. It's happened 8 times in the last three seasons and he's always been out for a couple of weeks. Needless to say this has really hurt my team's play, especially since my backup likes to get injured all the time as well.
I checked Rinne's injury proneness and it's only 2. So any ideas what I can do to keep him healthy?

Luck of the draw my friend. Be thankful you're not getting 6 month injuries.

Tone down his training a bit, let him heal 100% before throwing him back in, and just hope you're lucky.

You know, when I was reading this I was like "oh lol you poor rubbish", but after reading it the same glitch happened to my dear dear Esche. He injured, and when he got back it happened again, same thing again and again and again. Not sure of his injury-whatever, but it never happened before, now it's looping. And he was 100% whenever he game back in. Luck of the draw then, I guess.

Talk about bad karma ;)
Yeah, maybe I should get a new GK, but I really like Rinne when he's healthy...

Just get a solid backup who can be able to fill in for stretches. And make sure you have a decent third string goalie as well. I had Ryan Miller for a while, and he could start 70 games, but he was injured a lot. One season I thought he would be the same way so I had a third string guy to back him up, but then he retired from injuries before the season started. That left me with a goalie tandem that included a rookie coming out of college and a guy who had a career save percentage of .885 in 2 AHL seasons. I got out lucky, as the college kid won 30 and the backup added 13, but now I just keep a capable goalie around just in case...

Is it the same injury he keeps getting, or does it keep changing, as if it's all new instances? And how blatant is the "looping" - does it definitely feel like the game is stuck giving him an injury?

I ask because I'm wondering if this is perhaps supposed to be simulating a recurring injury...? He may not be prone to injuries, but maybe he got one, and now it just keeps coming back. But, if the injuries are all different with no real relation, then that's probably not the case.

No, they were all different injuries. But I guess complaining helped. Rinne played the next 2 seasons without missing a game.
