Spy reports

Although the title isn't the greatest, I was wondering about the possibility of something like a basic spy report from within the front office.

For example, let's say that Player X goes on waivers. Pull up the waiver list, select the player, and select spy report. The report comes back immediately (much like a trainer's or coach's report) that says, "We're 7th in waiver priority. The Islanders are 4th and have both the need and the cap room to acquire the player, and I think they'll put in a claim." Or, before putting a player on waivers, the same option can be selected and there will be a report on the likelihood that the player clears waivers and can be sent down. Or, when putting together a draft board or actually in the draft, a report could be generated for the likelihood of a certain team selecting a certain player.

Obviously it wouldn't be 100% accurate, but would more realistically simulate a big part of front office life.

I see what you mean, I guess you could ask your assistant GM to put together a report if you as a GM is too lazy to gather the information yourself :). What do the rest of you think about a feature like this?

It would be pretty cool. On the waiver thing the only way to gauge if a player is likely to be taken is to ask for trade offers from the 29 other teams. If interest is lukewarm or non existent then it's pretty sure they will pass through waivers. I think a report from the assistant GM would be a bit more realistic.

I agree that a AGM list would help but as for waivr priority it is easy enough to do (just go to the overall standings to see where your team sits, look at team with worse records and see if they have the space and wanting (team need) for this type of player.) Let's not get the game to involved into things that we as a GM can really do on our own with a couple minutes and some wanting to.
