Team TBL is back for the 2005/6 season!

Many of you may remember that we ran this last season and it proved highly popular and fun to do.

The basic idea is that I replace a team and add all users from the TBL forums (those who sign up in this thread) in to the team and then sim/play the games and post the results, news, etc. in this thread.

To join in the fun, copy all of the text below, take out the text in italics and then add your details:

Great work to get this going again Archi, how will it work with the Salary cap??

Thanks for pointing out my mistake. I forgot to mutiply by 2.54!

With regards to the salary cap: What I'll do is add all the players and see how it goes. If I encounter problems then I'll have to look into releasing contracted players or set the wages of the players myself.

If anyone has a better idea then please let me know

I was hoping that users would read the first three posts.

i have seen that what i ment was something like:

2 Golies: name 1 , name 2
6 def: this, this .....


and so on with the names that signed up so far so we can get an idea who we actually "compete against for a starting job"

Rubbinio: Only six people have signed up so far. Once a few more people have signed up I'll do a list of who is playing where (as I did with the previous version). At the moment you'll have to make do with the list of how many users have taken positions so far.

I belive, as a forward, you don't have to be very good at rebounds and one-on-ones.

You might be right. I can see how both could work from a forward's point of view, though. I checked the manual out of curiousity and rebound control is listed as a goalie-specific attribute.

Jepcan - if you want to change then feel free to post some corrections

KH - I'm not adding favourite/disliked staff/clubs. Firstly it doesn't really add anything to a Team TBL game. Secondly I don't think the Editor fully supports it (I think Neil mentioned some bug about it).
