EHM The Blue Line

With the original planned start date for DMB to be next weekend - I thought I would give the EHM online community an update on how things are going.

We experienced a minor set back with our host for DMB having his computer crash and call it a day. At the moment, I am in the process of getting a new host up and running with the game. I do have a fall back but I do not want to get things rolling until I am confident that you will all get the best experience possible in joining DMB.

Response has been great. At the moment, we have a wait list of 25 GM's who are eager to get competing online! For those of you who havent signed up yet, get your names down quick!!

Overall, we shouldnt be too far behind schedule, perhaps maybe a week or two from getting things up and running. If any of you have any questions, please do not hesitate to send me a PM.

Yep. Start up is immenent. The key to running an online league is having a solid host and someone you can trust. Unfortunately, I have lined up two hosts so far and both had computers crash so neither can no longer host the game. I have now lined up my third one and am just getting the game set up.

Sorry for the delay. Trust me - I want it up and running sooner than anyone on the wait list.

Just asking here, have the teams been decided already, if so maybe you could pass forward a list and see if everyone is happy with it? Possible swaps could sill be made Well you're the expert tho I'm pretty sure you have this planned out already or I am forgetting something (cba to check, lazy g2g sleep soon etc.) but I'm just curious.

As soon as I get some time over the next day or so, I can post the teams. Keep an eye you here...

DMB GM's have been named on the above link! Good luck to everyone and thanks for your continued interest in EHM Online! The DMB host should be up and running very shortly - we are talking in the matter of days. (if everything goes to plan and I havent jinxed myself by saying that )

I'm really looking forward to getting started

Just an update. I'm working on it. Just need the time to sit down and trouble shoot the new host through setting up VNC. The game works fine but to run a league you need VNC working as well. Delay now is me having a couple hours straight dedicated to doing it.

Absolute worst case scenario is start up right after Christmas (I plan on it being earlier but I though I would give a worst case scenario date). This is because at that point I will actually be with the new host and his computer and can set it up myself which makes things a lot easier.

It might actually work out being for the best if it started after Christmas. People tend to be busy during the Christmas holidays (the site can certainly go a bit quieter for that fortnight period in the run up to Christmas until New Year).

Just an update. We had some networking issues with the new DMB host with his ISP. This is to be resolved in the next week or so. Thank you for your patience.
