i have a question...if i see my budget, i see the budget for the team ( all players in the organisation) ,the max. budget for all teams and so on. my cap space is 500.000 over the max budget waht i can have. if i do something players to the waiver, this budget is goining down, but if i send some players down into the ahl the budget stay the same, is this normal? is it going down short time before the season started?

Is this happening in pre-season or while the season is already started?

I've noticed that often the cap is not counted and changes are not recorded correctly during the off-season. The cap will show correctly once the season starts.

Meanwhile, you can see how much is spent on the salaries by looking at the Total wages number in the Finances screen. (The big number at the bottom right corner).

This is not the same as your cap hit, but it gives you an idea where you're going, wage wise.

Sometimes you have to move a day or two further to see changes.

Does the guy have a two-way deal?
