EHM '07 is no longer available for sale. It was a digital download only and they aren't selling it any longer....I already tried via the '07 Trial version and direct contact with Sega. Once my trial ended, I was out of luck with '07 since I wasn't able to purchase the product key that would have unlocked the full version of the game.
Trust me, if I could, I would buy '07. I was a little ticked off when Sega replaced my '05 disc with an '04 disc...They said the '04 disc was the only one available....

Are you using a Mac? I think that's the one that's no longer for sale. I'm pretty sure the PC version of 07 is still available.

No, I'm using a PC. When my trial of '07 expires and I try to purchase it, it tells me that it is no longer available...
Supposedly they stopped selling it due to piracy (per Wikipedia). The '04 version is just missing so many players (via the draft) and some of their player ratings are bogus! It takes quite a few years to even get the Pens in the playoffs when you start with '04 (granted the "stars" on their roster back then were Mario, which the game does no justice, Malone, and Morozov). In reality, I guess you should miss the playoffs with the roster you start out with (Rico Fata anyone??), but in the '07 game, you can go on a tear with the Pens.

I'd try it again. I'm fairly certain people are still buying 2007. I remember somebody buying it around here not that long ago. They didn't stop selling it due to piracy. They stopped making new versions because they weren't selling enough due to piracy.

Thanks for the help...I'll try again and maybe I'll have different results. I wouldn't mind joining in on the EHM Challenges if I get all this figured out. Although, I'm pretty sure my wife will be ticked if I go drop $34.99 on this game!!

Honestly, its' the best $35 I've ever spent on a game. I bought it the day it came out and I'm still playing it. I think it's rare for most folks to play a game for more than a month or two. Here is one that people are playing for YEARS!

Agreed - I played '05 the same way. I had played through like 14 seasons before I lost my disc.
If I do purchase the game and decide to participate in the challenges, how do the roster updates, and other downloads affect my gameplay if I just start a regular season (not a challenge)? Won't the downloads affect any game I start or am currently playing?

If you patch EHM07 to the latest patch, it allows you to have multiple databases. There is a thread where it's all explained...

I was fairly certain that I was told by SEGA that you cannot purchase the game any longer, so I checked into the ticket that was opened with SEGA support. This is what I was told:

Hi,
The game, including the 2007 version, is no longer available. I realize that the game appears to be for sale on the Sports Interactive site, but you will not be able to purchase it.
Best,
Evan
SEGA Customer Support
I guess I'm completely out of luck then as far as playing the '07 game. I know it's illegal to crack the game (so I'm not going to do that), but is it illegal for someone to sell me their game (i.e., if they own it they can sell it to me right)? For instance, if someone is no longer going to play it, they could sell me their product key?

I wonder if SEGA just isn't selling it anymore. Have you tried this link...

I believe that's the "Sports Interactive" site that Evan was talking about (where it appears you can purchase it, but you really can't).

That's the Sports Interactive store on eLicense's site. I'd give it a try. See if it will let you purchase it.

Did you have any luck purchasing EHM 2007? I checked out the eLicense site and it seemed to be allowing me to purchase the game. I got as far as the payment screen but can't check any further as I already own the game and don't want to purchase another copy. However I know of a user who successfully purchased the game last Wednesday (i.e. two days ago).

Yes Archi, I was able to purchase the game yesterday (Friday). I apologize for making a big stink over it. I guess when SEGA told me it wasn't for sale, I just thought that was that and I couldn't get it.
Now I'm having a tough time with roster updates
I'll chech the forums and see where I'm going wrong.

Did you patch it?

I've got the newest Lidas rosters downloaded now (I had to patch to 3.0.4 first). Although the game is not new to me, all these add ons are....bear with me!

believe it or not. when i visit UK for a few weeks in december. I went round the shopping malls round there, I saw both EHM and EHM 2005. I couldnt believe it. didnt see 2007 though, but I wouldn't have expected too, lol.

Yea, several years ago, I was able to purchase EHM 2005 at Game Stop (of all places) - and for a steal at that - $9.99. I noticed you could still buy EHM and EHM 2005 on ebay...usually from an overseas seller, but the cost was outrageous.
Now that I have the new game, I haven't been able to play much!!

NHL EHM 2007 was never sold in shops, at least not in the UK. There was only a limited run of boxed copies done of the 2007 version for some licensed leagues, which then sold their stock in their own league shops. NHL EHM 2007 was primarily only sold online as the eLicense version.

I have a similar problem. Just bought a new PC and wanted to download the game again but cant seem to find any place where the demo (the one you can activate) can be downloaded. "file not found" is what I find.
Anything I can do, short of buying the game again?

Any version of the EHM 2007 demo can be activated. There was only one PC version of EHM 2007 released. Just install the demo and each time you launch the game you'll have the opportunity to enter your serial number.

Thats the problem, I cant find a functional link for the demo. All I found that seemed to work was
http://www.elicense.com/sigames/store/ and I dont see any option for downloading a demo there.

SI's link for it appears to be down, as does the RapidShare mirror, but I was able to get it to download from the "Worth Playing" mirror, which brought me to the file on File Front. Here is the link...

That seems to work for me too. Thank you very much!

I just got a MacBook Pro and was wondering if there is anywhere I can find EHM 2007 to buy? Or am I out of luck since they aren't selling it anymore. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
