Fines?

About 20 games in to a season I noticed my balance randomly went in the red. When checking out the finances area I noticed it was due to something called "League Fines". Not sure what I have done to piddle off the league but they are fining me huge amounts every month. Does anyone know what the game would fine you for?

I noticed in the news other teams were having huge problems as well, it got annoying but I guess since I was winning games I did not get fired? Mysteriously fixed itself after 4 or 5 months.....NHL officials were being blackmailed maybe?
