28 January 2011 Update

Hello,
Time has come for the first update of 2011; a bit shorter than usual which reflects the development pace the last month.
I have spent time working on the player development simulator I mentioned in the last blog entry. While I am still in phase 1 plenty of hours have been spent on this part including the GUI which will allow me to easily see how a player develops throughout his career, as well as provide stimuli to the simulator (injuries etc.). The GUI for phase 1 is 98% completed which means I will shortly be able to focus 100% on the actual logic behind player development. But most importantly, I will be able to find out whether or not my practice/development system will work adequately.
Sadly, the next couple of month I will be extremely busy at the university which means my time spent on the project will be significantly decreased.
Enough about me, lately Jatahati has had other things on his mind (getting married) than the project thus not spent a lot of time writing code. But he told me he will have more time now and next on his to-do list is finishing the schedule creator and db handling.
Forward has not reported what he has done so I have no updates on his progress; in time for the next update I will make sure to do.
That is all for now, enjoy the all-star weekend everyone!
