EHM The Blue Line

This is patch 3.0.4 for EHM 2007 for the PC (aka SI Patch 469). It includes numerous tweaks and bug fixes, such as the infamous declining attribute bug.

This is the final ever patch released for EHM 2007. You do not need to install any of the previous patches before installing this one. If you encounter any difficulties, please ask any questions in our unofficial Technical Support Forum.

Forgive me for being new, but what do I do once I have downloaded it?

I tried to just open it but it didnt recongize file type and didnt have a program to open with.

It's an .exe file and should work just by doubleclick.

Its quite odd. I downloaded it from a different website and it worked just fine. Thanks anyway.

Hi, when I get to the installer, I click on the update and it says : Error : A sharing violation occured while accessing ...( the file )

Am I doing something wrong ?

Try reinstalling game if possible, and redownloading the patch in cases of corrupted file.

After I applied the patch it's asking me to put a CD in.

Are you sure you downloaded the EHM 2007 3.0.4 patch? EHM 2007 was only available as a digital download, so it definitely shouldn't be asking for a CD.

I got it solved. And it was asking me to put in a CD, which is what confused me.

I honestly don't know. I just copied my exe off my portable hard drive and it began to work again. I'm assuming the patch is still in place after.

It depends on the version of the EXE you copied from your portable hard drive. If the backup on your hard drive was of the patched version then the patch will still be in place. You can always check the version of the game installed by, IIRC, going to the game options screen (it should say the version number in the bottom right hand corner of the screen).

hey, just downloaded this patch but it wont work it shows some e-license control msg. its says in order to finish the download it has to first be used with user admin privileges does anyone know how to get around that.

try right clicking and run as admistrator

in propriety, they says unknow file.

Delete it and try to download the file in the first post again. Once you've downloaded it, look at the file and see if it has an exe extension. If there isn't an extension, try renaming it and adding the ".exe" yourself.

So, I put .exe myself?

Thanks a million for keeping this link to the last patch as clicking check for updates in the game no longer works.

Whenever I download this patch, I cannot start the game. I tried a couple times uninstalling the game and this patch, but it won't work with the patch. Screen says:

In order to finish initializing, this application must be run by a user with administrator privileges.

Please contact your system administrator for help.

Anyone know what I am doing wrong? I am the administrator of this computer and it works without the patch. If anyone can help, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I guess you used the 'Run as Admin' option to run the patch. That's what it means about not having admin privileges.

I got a prob now. I downloaded the game and patch to my friends compu, but when i used pre-game editor it started to complain about runtime error. operating system is Windows 7 Home Premium and it got the microsoft visual c++ 2010 redistributable. I tried to delete and extract the files again and again but it complains the same. What to do?
