The final patch for EHM 2005 (version 2.1.3). This is for the CD-ROM version for the Mac.

So a friend of mine downloaded this and it won't run. He's reinstalled the game and re-ran the patch and it still won't work. Does anybody have the patch on their own mac or got this one working?

What version of OS X is he using? I understand that PowerPC apps are not compatible with the most recent versions of OS X and so it is not possible to run the game (it is something to do with Rosetta being dropped). I know the game certainly isn't compatible with Lion. However, it looks like the game can work with Snow Leopard. Check out this post by Ciryatan which details fixing an issue installing the patch with Snow Leopard:
