A little more info for those interested (this is quoted from our Main Site news page):

SI Games have just released the final patch for NHL: EHM. This upgrades the game to version 2.1.3. Download HERE.

NOTE: Roster updates for version 2.1.2 ARE COMPATIBLE with 2.1.3.
If you want to keep the roster update that is currently in EHM then, before applying the patch, backup 'extra_config.cfg' located in Eastside Hockey Manage 2005\data\database\. After applying the patch, put the backup back in this folder. This is because the patch updates this file. You may want to make a backup of the file updated by the patch for future usage.

The patch, of course, will not affect the team names, etc. of current saved games.

So I downloaded the patch in order to start Challenge 2. When I look around I find out that Fedorov's in Anaheim and Joe Thornton's still with the Bruins. What's up with that? :dunno:

They didn't do any database changes as if they'd have done that, it would've taken alot longer to make the patch as they would've had to get the db updates approved. Besides since the game starts before this season, it's only natural that the rosters are set to the start of the season as well.

If you're looking for a data update that has the Thornton trade included, check out Smetana's roster update. He includes the roster moves that happened up to around the time of the Thornton trade and he also tweaks the player abilities some.

I had a database back-up from 2.1.2, so it's okay. :)

I'm trying to download it for Octavian now but it won't even connect to the site to start downloading. :-k

When I was downloading the PC CD patch yesterday, it was only going at about 4kb/s.
