EHM The Blue Line

UPDATE (25 March 2011): All EHM 2007 files are back online.

A lot of users are understandably anxious to know when exactly all of the EHM downloads will accessible once again, and so I thought it'd be helpful to provide an update:

As you know, the downloads section has moved to here in the forums. This means that all of the files need to be re-uploaded to the site and a new thread created for each file. On average it takes me roughly two minutes to add each file - for each file, I have to find the copy on my laptop, rename the file (the previous downloads section scrambled each name to hex code), create the thread with the appropriate title, paste in the file description, upload the file and set the correct file author. This is why it's taking time to get the files back online!

With regards to EHM 2007, all of the addons have now been uploaded with the exception of the logos and facepacks. I have today uploaded 50% of the logos (see here) meaning that I have roughly 35 more North American team/league logo packs to add (all the Euro and international ones are now online). As for the facepacks, this will take a great deal of time indeed. We have in the region of 260 facepack files. 260 files x 2 mins = nearly 9 hours of work. I'll need to investigate whether we need all of those facepacks or whether some are now out of date and have been superseded by newer packs.

I've also noticed that a few files were lost from when FileFront removed inactive files. I've created the threads for these files but obviously there's no download link. I'll need to check through all of my files to see if I have another copy anywhere.

With regards to EHM 2004 and 2005, I'll be posting a poll in a week or two in order to see what addons users want to see back on the site. If I remember correctly, EHM 2007 facepacks are compatible with EHM 2005 - which raises the question whether we need any EHM 2005 facepacks online.

The EHM 2005 patches and PC try'n'buy are already online and I'll be uploading the Mac try'n'buy in the near future. I also have the EHM 2004 digital download and patches to upload.

2004/05(EHM 2005 v2.0.2)

2006/07(EHM 2007 v3.0.4)

I don't update either game with roster files except for the Winnipeg Jets challenge you did. I don't know if that helps or not but just thought I'd mention it?

I have made this thread a global thread because it seems some users still haven't seen this and are asking questions which are answered in the first post of this thread.

Scotty - As mentioned in the first post, I think the latest facepacks will provide the pictures you need. I'm not sure you'll really need the older facepacks. However, if there is demand then I will of course upload them because I don't want to control what users can and can't access/download! However, uploading the most recent EHM 2007 facepacks and finalising other parts of the site will have to take priority - as would an attributes/roster project I'm working on.

All EHM 2007 files are back online other than the facepacks. I've uploaded 36 facepacks and there's approximately 92 more to upload.

I've noticed a couple of facepacks are missing and so I've stickied these at the top of the Facepacks section.

Update: 58 more EHM 2007 facepacks have been uploaded since my previous update. Only 34 are left to upload (they are the 2006/07 mugshots and TBL07 cards).

I took a look through the site's files and we don't have any EHM 2005 tactics whatsoever. However I think they might be some mentioned in the Graphics and Addons Forum - try a forum search through there.

I still play this version & I have created a nice high scoring one. Currently 3-1-0 with the worst rated team in the OHL. If you want you this, let me know & I'll send it to you or if the Mods want it to upload?

On a seperate issue, are there any EHM 05 skins floating around? There were some links on the previous website but they were dead.
The facepacks for 2007, would they work on 2005 even though the players may be at different teams?
Anything 2005 related would be cool.

You're more that welcome to upload any of your addons/tactics for any version of EHM. Although I'd wait for your team to settle down first as you've only played four games with your OHL team.

Yes - the 2007 facepacks will work absolutely fine. It doesn't matter what teams players are on - what matters is the player name and date of birth. I can't remember for sure that the image dimensions are the same for both games but I think it should be okay.

I've got a couple of EHM 05 skins and colourisations. When I have time, I'll upload them to the site for you. However I do have heaps of work to do on the site at the moment and so I can't promise how soon I can do this. If I haven't done it within the next 4 or 5 weeks then feel free to send me a PM to remind me.

It would seem all of the EHM 2007 downloads have been restored. I know for a few older files (maybe 6 or 7) the links are missing - I'm going to have a look through what I have backed up to see if I can find them. I also need to sort out some of the screenshots. But for 99.9% of the files, they're back online.

I also need to dig out my copy of the EHM Scout and upload that.

Cool, I was going to get it up to around 40 games to see how this tactic works. Should be more than enough games, especially in the OHL.
Facepacks, I'll check this out when I unzip them so I may need to edit the DoB's.
In regards to the EHM 05 uploads, not a problem. I didn't expect them to be uploaded before the 2007 stuff went up as not many of us play 05(offline) to my knowledge. Its still fun and quite the challenge. Its a pity that the Challenges don't apply to it, but understandable.

I do, but I snapped the disc the other day. I've re-ordered it & it should arrive today hopefully. I just need to see how the tactics work through 40 league games & tweak them if needed. So I should be able to give you something next week.

Any chance this can get bumped up in date? I'd love to use it to join the DMHNL.

I will like to know where i can find the EHM 2007 download games files for install on my PC ? So, i'm very interested to play with the next Lida update roster about NHL and international teams !
