The OHL-franchise, Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds has signed Kyle Dubas as their new General Manager.
He is only 25 years old!

WOW! That's pretty young for that kind of role. I know in baseball, Theo Epstein of the Boston Red Sox was the youngest general manager ever at the age of 28.

Apples and Oranges
Theo Epstein manages one of the highest grossing teams in professional sports with a salary this year of $163 million.
Still an impressive feat for this kid, but I'd stop way short of comparing him to Theo Epstein.

Oh, I wasn't comparing them. I'm just saying that Theo is the youngest GM in pro sports that I had heard of before this guy.

That Theo is this the actual GM of the Red Sox?? If yes since when? darn for a pro league it's really really young.

Yes, Theo Epstein was named GM of the Boston Red Sox when he was 28 years old. They've won 2 World Series Championships since. He's still GM now.

Wow that's great!

Was it it's first year when they broke Ruth's curse?

I can't remember if it was Epstein's first year that they won. I think he might have been there for a year or two already though. I'm not a baseball fan at all.

Epstein became the manager in the offseason prior to 2003 (sometime in late 2002 was his hiring date). The Red Sox broke the curse in 2004. Pretty impressive stuff!

darn yes it is impressive! This mean he was 30 years old when they won the World Series. At least 50% of the players in the team got the same age as him back in those days.
