EHM The Blue Line

Hey All.

I've downloaded the 2.1.3. patch, and started a new game with the Newcastle Vipers in the UK Elite League . I was immediatley offered the GB National job. Is that normal on this patch? Naturally, i accepted the offer, but there are no fixtures arranged for them for this season. Are there World Championship Pool games at the end of the season?

Also regarding this patch, have noticed there are a huge amount of High-Sticking calls. Has anyone else noticed this?

I've only played in the NHL with 2.1.3 so I can't comment for whether you would normally get offered the GB job, but it seems a little odd to get it immediately Your fixtures will get arranged automatically when the competitions are, there are no friendlies AFAIK in international management.

I don't coach the games myself so no idea about the high-sticking calls. There are a lot IMO in the NHL this year, one or two a game, are you seeing more than that?

Yes, the pools will probably be announced on January 15th.

Yes, about 50% of all penalties called are for high sticks. Mostly 2 minute minors, the occasional 2+2. It seems to happen at bizarre times as well, had it happen when someone was on a breakaway.

Thanks dude. was beginning to think there were no GB games till Olympic Qualifiers
