Manimal Rosters 2011/12 & Start Date Patch v1.2 Coming Soon!

The hockey season is now well and truly under-way and I know a lot of us here are dying to play with the new season in EHM; especially now that we are able to change the start date and play with the 2011/12 season for real. For me this has to be the most exciting season for EHM since it was cancelled back in January 2007. Judging by the amount of activity in the EHM/TBL community of recent, I'd say I'm not the only one who feels that way! When I met Riz about a fortnight ago, he remarked that the EHM community feels more active now than it was during the time when EHM was still being developed - and I'd definitely agree.
A lot of users are asking when the Manimal Rosters v4.0 2011/12 will be released. At the moment, we do not have an estimated release date. The roster update is a huge project (requiring work almost throughout the year) and it ultimately has to be done by just one person (with the kind assistance of the researchers). Manimal is doing the best he can but, as it is such a big task, we simply cannot provide an estimated release date. As soon as Manimal is able to give an estimate, we will post it on the Home Page. In the mean time we all just have to be patient and give as much help and encouragement as we can. Manimal is always looking for volunteers to help research. If you're interested then check out the Manimal Rosters Forum: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/viewforum.php?f=45
On a related topic, the next version of the Custom Start Date Patch (v1.2) should be released within the next 2-3 weeks. Most notably, the Patch resolves an issue with the Canadian Juniors draft and it will be compatible with Windows XP (I'm working on this at the moment). The Patch will also have an improved user interface and will display more helpful messages/errors (it can also detect what version of EHM you're running). I'm also going to re-write the readme.txt into a clearer document (probably as a .pdf). You can follow my progress here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... &start=350
The Manimal Rosters v4.0 will be designed to be used with the CSD Patch.
