EHM The Blue Line

I've searched through this thread (and others) but couldn't find my answer.

I've been struggling to change league names, always getting a error message.

I've done extensive modding and rewrote entire leagues without issues, but league names have been troublesome. I've read it somewhere, don't remenber exactly, that league names CAN be edited, and Lidas db has the "All-American League 4" as "United Hockey League".

Can anyone help me on this?

I've tried renaming the American Hockey league (and it's divisions) while adding leagues with the former name (so a league called "American Hockey League", and it's divisions, exist on the DB), but without sucess.

Seems some on thebreakaway.net site have managed to change some league names by modifying the actual code in the exe file (there's a "KHL Hockey Manager?" thread on the TBN site that refers to this) - seems to be a difficult task that requires some specialized skills/software to do

So, basically, if you make the American Hockey League some pan-continental fantasy league that has nothing to do with America, it still must be named American Hockey League? That's a shame, really.


The only sucess I've had is renaming the Leagues in other languages, the only thig I have to do is play the game in french
