I was thinking of doing this before but I didn't have the extra brain power to pull my own together

So here's the one they used as the HNIC After Hours question yesterday 8-) Which of course means I didn't choose the options so I've added in a 'Other Team' option in case you want to vote that one and state your case why you think another team did better for themselves than any of these four Hockey Night in Canada used for their poll 8-)

I'd say my beloved Colorado Avalanche with Theo.
Oilers had a good acquisition with samsonov but they'll go nowhere with roloson

I'm also going with the Avs, picking up Theodore is a good move for them.

Edmonton should have went after someone other then Roloson :thdn:

I have voted for LA....I like the moves they have done!!!

Parrish and Sopel bring lots of depth to their lineup!!!

For Theo and the Avs: time will tell, but RIGHT NOW, its clear that the Habs have the better part of the trade...at least until Theo recovers from his "strange injury"....

How do the habs have the better part of the deal? Abby's been sitting on the bench while Huet puts on a rookie goaltending clinic.

Very simple: Theo is injured right now!!!! so...RIGHT NOW, as I said earlier, the Habs have the better of it!!!

And..Äbi has had his ups and down during the season, but still has played 43 games so far...not much space for benchsitting, I think...

I personally go with LA as well... Parrish is one of those guys that is always underrated so that gives them a huge boost in offense as well as experience and Sopel can be absolutely awesome.

As for Colorado-Montreal I see it as exchanging questionmarks really. Theodore has been a nightmare this year and Aebescher has been up and down but has had some great stretches and he's still young. Don't ever forget that Jim Carey won the Vezina :-p

Given Theodore's contract I'd lean toward Montreal having the best potential to benefit from this deal as I see it.

I would also choose Colorado.
