New Guy with some questions!

Hey everybody new EHM player here and brand spankin' new to the forums! I am not sure this is the correct place to post this but I will give it a shot. I started to play EHM about a week ago and I am one of those OCD anal type of guys where everything has to be perfect before I start to play. This is where my post begins; with some questions.
I am looking for the most "realistic" and up to date sim for EHM. Just curious on what patches and mod's I should use to achieve this?
From poking around the site and browsing some I currently have the following:
3.0.4 patch
Realism patch
Custom Start date patch
Manimal v4.1b rosters
Logo pack for the NHL
Mug shot pack (Made my own containing over 900 players, and all 30 current head coaches and most assistant coaches) (I used the 2011-2012 player mug shots)
However I did notice the schedule is still set up to from how it was in 06-07, where you don't play every out of conference team. That is one small thing that bugs me. Is there anyway to fix this? Also I started in 2011/2012 season and I noticed the milestones were all off, what players are rookies, and the history section. For example Getzlaf won the calder, however he isn't a rookie. Numerous players hit milestones for games, goals, assists, points etc however if you go to that given player's info he's well over the milestone mark for in which the email i receive said. If you go to league history and look at some of the records they are blank or aren't accurate to accommodate for the 2007-2011 seasons. Are there any mods or patches to fix these issues? Any info/guidance/help would be appreciated! Let me know what patches and or mods you all use to have the most realistic hockey expereince. ( I am all about the realism!

EDIT: Also is there a way for the salary cap to fluctuate each season or is that stay the same? Hope to get more feedback from everybody!
