Note: For this story I will be using the Manimal 4.1b rosters adjusted for the hardcoded 2006 start date. I will control the Niagara IceDogs of the OHL (I know, not as challenging as the teams I usually pick, but they are my hometown team, so I picked them.)
August 2006
August 2nd
The Niagara IceDogs announced today the appointment of Mark Addison as their new General Manager. The Board have announced a modest goal of making the playoffs, but fan and media expectations include a trip to the Memorial Cup. This is certainly the best chance this team has had to make the Cup Tournament since moving to St. Catharines from Mississauga.
The OHL schedule has been released, and the IceDogs will open the season at home against the rival Mississauga St. Michael's Majors on September 22nd, before hosting the Brampton Battalion on September 24th, and the Sudbury Wolves on September 29th.
