EHM The Blue Line

I'm still not sure on the timing of when we'll begin this one so no promises of how soon it might start, could still be a month or so possibly. I encourage people that have taken on Carolina 2.1 to bring their teams into a second season and join up with those of us battling it out in 2.2

However it's never too early to get the poll up to decide who we'll turn to next. As mentioned previously Challenge targets are teams that need GM intervention to make the playoffs. We also try to keep away from any teams TBLer's play as their personal games (so that's why no Sabres, Bruins or Hawks in the list )

So, who should we battle next to bring to Stanley Cup glory? As promised in the last poll I've added two Canadian options this go-round as well.

Keep in mind these will be teams run under either the default EHM database or the Unfaking v1 database to keep those playing "straight off the CD" on an evan playing field with the rest of the GMs.

Too bad too as I'd love to see people rescue the Hawks from the Wirtzford Empire and they are an ideal Challenge candidate; but I'd be unfairly ahead of the curve in knowing about the team and that wouldn't be fair. Stupid rules Heh.

Panthers!

Why you ask? Because I feel like it! (and because I closed my eyes and that's which one it landed on!)

How about the Nashville Predators or the Toronto Maple Leafs

Much to easy to win the cup with the Leafs. We pick teams that suck, so it really takes skill to do well with them.

Nashville are a bit on the strong side for Challenge play though if we were to go with a team like that we'd make all the options along that line; maybe as a change of pace for 4.1 But that's getting ahead of ourselves... ya see I ask about which teams you'd like to play for the next Challenge but deciding upon the teams that make the list is more a matter of find teams that will yeild the best Challenges

Florida is my pick. They always suck in my game.

I would go for the Western Conference this time.

My Favorites: Minnesota Wild or Columbus Blue Jackets.

Oilers! Do in need the post-trade updated unfaking rosters or not?

I chose the Panthers because they've got a few players on this team that I'm always trying to get. I actually started a game with the Panthers last week. It's very challenging! They've got a bunch of old-timers on the team that you really need to get rid of (both because of their low stamina and their salaries) and you can't trade them until a couple of months into the season. I ended up trading away most of the roster by the deadline. Of course, I'll start a new game for the challenge if we end up using the Panthers.

Minstrel, I've actually been thinking about starting a game using Chicago. They've got some good youngsters in their system. I think they'd be an interesting team to try out.

Canadiens

Try to rebuilt a little bit of their famous past

LOL, I don't know if I could actually stomach running the Habs... unless it was to run them into the ground.

The Hawks actually do have a great stable of young talent, Hockey's Future has them rated as the #3 system in the NHL. Their defensmen are a few years ahead of their forwards but it's a good team to run a "build through the draft" rebuilding effort with...

I am your one vote for St Louis because I think they would be the hardest team to GM.

It's looking like we'll be travelin' south even further for this one

Will give people a week or so more to vote on this one before "officializing" it though

Don't forget that scoring closes for 2.1 soon so get your team finsihed for the season if you haven't, and we're getting close to scoring deadline for the first bonus points of 2.2 as well so if you want to carry your 2.1 team on whuchawaitinfer?

The Panters should be fun. I just finished a season with them in a game I started a little while ago. I really like where that team is heading in it's second season. Of course, I'll start a new game for the challenge.

Come on, folks! Hurry up and finish your seasons. I finished season two of challenge 2 ages ago and even did a 3rd season for fun. I want to get in on a new challenge.

I wished we could play with the Kings, because we have traveling along the east coast for two challenges now and all the challenges has been in the same division. But it doesn't matter for me.

Why is the team I want never picked

Next time I'm going for the team I DON'T want to win.

I might actually have to join in this time around.

Even though the Habs weren't picked.

Since we don't get quite as much weekend 'traffic' as on weekdays I'm going to call this one on Monday around noon or so my time (central US) so we can finalize on our team and get rolling at the start of next week A little earlier than scheduled but I too want to hop on a new Challenge

So check back for sure Monday evening (US Time) and we can roll. If you're a gamblin' man you could start with Florida but if the votes turn around you'd have to restart... personally I wouldn't want to go through the work of taking over a new team twice but if you want to live dangerously be my guest. If it does end up differently the only sympathy you'll get from me is "Told ya that might happen."

If you do roll with it don't forget; default or unfake 1.0 rosters only and you have to have your gamee patched to 2.1.3
