Any chance that a game like NHL 2006 and EHM would ever combined? Just wondering if any one has ever heard of a game like that where the sim is really in depth and you can still play games as the player if you choose.

That would kind of negate the whole point of being a manager wouldn't it?

How the current NHL 06 is made in Dynasty mode you are the manager and the players but the manager part is still shallow compaired to EHM.

One of the reasons I have stopped to play EA Sports NHLs is because of the pooooor Dynasty mode they have in the NHL game!!!! And I really dont understand it!!! The Dynasty modes for NFL or MLB games of EA Sports are really not bad or even good, but the one in the NHL games are sooooo poor and unrealistic!!!

...and about the original threat: I think there was a game, but it was a loooong time ago...and I had it for the Commodore Amiga (so it was really a loooooooong time ago, lol!!!).

I had that game back in the day.

It paired 2 diferent games; 'Hockey League Simulater' with 'Wayne Gretzky Hockey'...

For the time, WGH was very advanced and the players were ranked in ten different categories!

The game play looked very similar to FM's 2d match engine, actually.

WGH was hard to master. But HLS was decent at simming games and it had the financials, etc. But no career mode.

After a while I ditched the WGH, and just played the HLS portion of it

For technology 15-20 years old, it was not that bad; and great for the time!

Yes, thats the one I mean, The Blue Meanie!!!

I thought it had something to do with Wayne!!! I agree that it was a very good game for that time, and a lot of fun to play it!!

...just sad they dont do something like that now!! Would be a huuuuuuge game (or should be)!!
