Adding staff to Farm team

I am sure someone has probably tried this in the past.
What is everyone's stance on temporarily taking control of your Farm team and signing new staff to that team to make sure they have great people running the show instead of bad ones?
I am not 100% certain on Ice Hockey but I am pretty sure the NHL side has a say in what staff the AHL farm signs.
It's annoying that your players have to learn under complete scrubs whilst there are better coaches out there who can improve your kids at the maximum level.
Also for the people who have done this, how easy is it to get good staff to the AHL side? I know that the NHL is easy peasy to get great staff because well... You are on top of the Ice Hockey foodchain.

There are likely a lot of different opinions on this. Personally, I try and leave my farm team alone, as it provides a bit more uncertainty in the game, ie not all your prospects will develop well.

When I am playing messing-around games I often axe my ECHL affiliate and replace them with a second AHL affiliate (usually not even a real AHL team, but a non-AHL team I've promoted up for fun). Not even for developmental reasons, but I like to be up near my 50-contract limit and 2 AHL affiliates lets me spread my guys between the two so they all play (again I don't know if it really helps development, but I just like them all getting decent PT and stat lines).
I hadn't considered taking the AHL side over to hire better staff though.

The only time I tend to take over the affiliates is during the challenges. IRL it usualy the assistant GM of the NHL team that has the dual role of being GM of the AHL affiliate.

I'm all for it deknegt!
I usually control my farm team but I believe the next best thing is to sign better coaches, scouts, and trainers.
