Oddly Distributed Ice-Times

Ever since I've switched over from "Quick Sim" to "All" under detail level, my players' ice-times have become incredibly imbalanced. Some players play upwards of 40 minutes a game while others can barely get a shift in. Doesn't seem to matter which line a player is on as the same 10 (roughly) players are the ones who see ice-time. Players are also played in different positions than specified in my lines (e.g. I'm using Bryan Little as a RW but he'll play about half of his games at C).
Examples:
I've tried playing with the Forward/Defense usage under tactics as well as letting my coach control lines and tactics, but nothing has worked.
None of the other teams in the league are affected by this. Switching back to Quick Sim fixes the problem, but I'd like to be able to play on full sim as it's much more accurate.
Apologies if this has been posted before. I searched here as well as on google and couldn't find anything.

Do you coach the games or just sim them?
Does it affect defensemen or just forwards?
How long do you have their shifts set to? Malkin doesn't have a lot of shifts, but they're very long.
Do you have line matching on?
Do you have it set to use the current tactics and lines?
Do you have your power play set to favor 1st?
Any of your players double-shifted (set on PP1 and PP2, or FWD1 and FWD2)?

Yeah, Richie is asking some good questions.
If you're going to let the coach take over the games you MUST set your lines. Otherwise he'll have your top players playing even strength, PP, and PK. A few more screenshots might help. One from the tactics/line up of one of these games and one that shows everyone's total ice time. And I agree with him that your shift length is jacked up.
Last thought: I don't think the Quick Sim vs Full game matters. It just allows you to look at more details about the game, specifically goals that were scored, so that you can make adjustments to your tactics.

From what I've read it makes a difference in stats produced, with Quick Sim producing less realistic numbers (IIRC this is why the Challenges don't allow Quick Sim to be used)

I agree nino, I was just referring to his ice time dilemma.

Last thing I noticed... this all seems to be preseason games. Does the same thing happen in the regular season? Maybe you have prospects or players that are in poor condition in the rest of your lineup (common during preseason/training camp) and so the game is giving Malkin long shifts because the other players simply can't play?
