Project NHL 32X v3.2 Released

Another small update to the NHL 32X series is now available to download HERE. Changes include: Latest transfers, extensions and 2019 contracts including a host of high-profile NCAA signings which will occur in the game in the summer of 2019. I am NOT including end-of-season ATO contracts of NCAA players to the AHL/ECHL. Only future full-time contracts for the 19 season and beyond. Fixed some errors/bugs from v3.1 (Grundstrom to LA, fixed salary bug on high-profile RFA’s like Rantanen, Marner, Point, Aho and Carlo).  Big cleanup of old, retired UFA players…still not quite done but trying to be accurate here....

TBL Rosters v11.0 Released

We are delighted to announce that the first release of the TBL Rosters for the 2018/19 season is now live on Steam. The update features a plethora of transactions, attribute updates and playable leagues as at the start of the 2018/19 season. The rosters are frozen as at 5 October 2018. We appreciate that this season’s release has been greatly delayed; even by our usual target of a Christmas release. This is as frustrating for us as it is for everybody else but unfortunately it was unavoidable. We are looking at ways of making the release and research process more...

Interview with Risto Remes (EHM 2005)

Thanks to the Internet Archive, we have been able to recover an old interview from February 2005 originally published by Rabi Sultan of the now defunct (but legendary) nhlfe.com. Enjoy! I had a fantastic opportunity to visit the SI Towers in Islington, London and meet up with Risto Remes and the EHM team. Once I finally arrived having I was invited up and met with Risto Remes face to face and showed me around the testing and development labs where NHL EHM 2005 was being put through its paces. Once in the office there was a shelf dedicated to the...

EHM Editor v0.3.0 & v0.3.1 Released

Versions 0.3.0 and 0.3.1 of the Editor for Eastside Hockey Manager 1 have now been released. This is the first update for around six months and is a pretty extensive update. There was a very slight issue with certain spinboxes resetting in version 0.3.0 – hence the release of version 0.3.1 which is simply a hotfix. The Editor is now a 64-bit application and is now built using Microsoft Visual Studio C++ 2017. Consequently you must now install the Microsoft Visual Studio 2017 Redistributable before you attempt to run the Editor otherwise it will crash. You must install the 64-bit version (also known...

Franchise Hockey Manager 5 Released

The latest game in the Franchise Hockey Manager series by Out of the Park Developments is now available on Steam and OOTP’s webstore. Whatever you might have thought of the first FHM back in 2013, the game has really transformed over the past four years and FHM 5, just like FHM 4, marks a noticeable positive improvement for the series. Once I have some spare time, I’ll try to write up a short review of how I am finding the game. In the meantime, here is a quick rundown of the key new features: Improved user interface which is more...
