FYI - I intend on posting 2045 data too. Currently Test 1 (on my PC) is in February 2039 and simming away as I write! Test 2 (on my laptop) is in July 2038 and is currently not simming away HaHa as my laptop decided it needed another rest (after not working for a few days it was working fine again for awhile...until about an hour ago, and now it's back to shutting itself off)

I told Riz a couple days ago I'd summarize the results/findings and send him an email in a week or two. Right now I'm going to work on compiling some Player Attribute data (like I did last year) from the saves I have available as a result of doing the regen testing http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... 29#p214829

Please feel free to comment/post your thoughts! I'll be reviewing everything in this thread again before I write Riz about things

NOTE - I left the "right hand side" blank if the League didn't have excess players
The NHL has an average of 61.4 players "Contracted To" each NHL team
It's strange that the KHL is so much lower than the top Leagues in Europe (and the AHL seems low too)

28 MHL teams "found" (I think it's correct); FYI I do the "best I can" with European/Russian Junior teams but it's a challenge! As leagues are often combined in the Assistant and names are different than online (and very unfamiliar to me!), but I'm getting better/more familiar HaHa

Seems to be far fewer "older players" in 2045 than 2035 or 2025

At this point my plan is to pause/quit doing the Regen Testing I've been doing & now I want to get the Attribute Development data compiled/posted (which I've done a lot of prep work on already) + I've started work on looking at NHL Draft Quality, looking at the actual picks and their pre draft rankings in light of their CA/PA and Reputation (to see if draft rankings/draft picks are as "off" as they seem to often be, thus giving the supportive evidence for Riz to make adjustments accordingly)

As I recently told CJ in a PM, the testing is mind numbing and tedious but important IMO (but I'm glad I'm almost done!). I think Riz is likely really busy with FM at this time plus with EHM I'd think he has to do the work to get a 2016 start date happening, so I figured "no rush" and I'd summarize all my August testing findings and send him the test results/thoughts regarding them in late August or the start of September

So In the near future I'll be scrolling through the pages of this thread and formalizing some thoughts, but "off the top of my head" what stands out is.....
  • seems almost all/all Leagues have players that are way to low in CA, and many have some players that are way to high as well
  • Russia seems it might be underrepresented in the overall talent/mid range talent
  • the UK Leagues seem to have unrealistic high end talent
  • the NCAA seems to be lacking appropriate talent
  • seems some older players keep their top talent for to long, the "cut off" for playing seems to never pass 40, and some top players are still playing when their CAs are at a very low level (top players typically don't hang around until they drop down to being fringe players at best)
Please feel free to share any thoughts/opinions/suggestions you may have! :-)

P.S. The main/most important (IMO) of the three tests is Test 1, with "no players/staff added" (which IIRC still adds 7000 players/2000 staff); with an underdatabase created I myself see much less value in the adding players/staff or adding junior players options (I'd be inclined to add everyone possible, but not without then editing them as would be done with the underdatabase concept)
