League Patch released!

Post by Alessandro »

It's now ready! Download the file here: http://www.ehmtheblueline.com/forums/vi ... =88&t=8755 or here: http://www.sendspace.com/file/j0w3k7

Contents:
- EHM2007.exe file - you'll need this to get a part of the new rules (in particular, the Austrian 10-team league and the Finnish new foreign rules). ATTENTION: THIS IS NOT A NO-CD CRACK OR ANYTHING SIMILAR. IN ORDER TO USE THIS FILE YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE A PURCHASED, VALID AND LEGIT LICENSE.
- Superpatch2.amt file - The needed table for Art Money.
- A readme file (with the same information)

How to use the patch:
Step 1
Download Art Money from here: http://www.artmoney.ru/e_download.htm (Free version, of course) and install it.
Step 2
Launch Art Money, ignore the ad then go to Search > Options, then select Save/Load values in file-table. Close Art Money.
Step 3
Take a backup of your ehm2007.exe original file. Unzip the downloaded patch: the ehm2007.exe file should go in the main EHM 2007 installation folder, the .amt file can go anywhere, however, it would be better to unzip it within the Table folder of the Art Money directory.
Step 4
In order to make the game work if we're going to select the Austrian league, we need to add 2 teams with the Pre Game Editor. You can add any team you wish, but you must always have a correct number of teams in other leagues in order to avoid crashes.
Step 5
Launch EHM and wait until you'll get to the main screen, where you can choose load saved game, start a new game, etc.
Step 6
Launch Art Money, select the EHM process from the process bar on the top of the screen under the menu bar. Click on Load on the bottom of the page and open the file Superpatch2.amt
Step 7
Control that your table was loaded correctly. In order to do so, the latest entries should have a 9999 value. If 2008 appears, reload the patch until you see 9999 (one attempt should be enough).
Step 8
Optional: Use at this point only the CSD patch in order to change the game starting data. Select a year then click "Apply patch only" and wait for the little program to close.
Step 9
Create a new game with your desired selected leagues (If you didn't add teams to Austria, remember NOT to select Austria)
Step 10
Control that the game was created correctly. Austrian league should have about 16-17 games played (it's a known issue) with a North American start date. If the Austrian league has 0 games, it will crash on June 30th, and you should redo the process (this happened to me only once in about 30 tests)

You'll always need to run Art Money when using this patch.

What will it have:

· Shoot-outs are added for:
o CZ league
o RUS
o SWE (Elitserien+Allsvenskan)
o FIN (SM Liiga, Mestis, Suomi division)
· And also for:
o Czech U20 Tournament
o Swedish U20 Tournament
o Finnish U20 Tournament
o Russian U20 Tournament
o Continental Cup
o European Champions Cup
· Import restrictions for:
o CZ (from 3 to 6 foreigners)
o DEN (from no restrictions to 8 foreigners) – problematic with DB since many teams have 10 or more foreigners but gameplay test is more important
o RUS (to 5 foreigners - no more foreign goalies ban!!)
o FIN (to 2 non-EU. We know that it's not 100% correct, but for now we can't do better)
· Special: Austrian EBEL league brought to 10 teams! To do this you'll need to add two new teams to the EBEL league with the pregame editor

100% COMPATIBLE WITH CSD PATCH
THE INCLUDED EXE WON'T WORK IF YOU DON'T HAVE A PURCHASED, LEGIT LICENSE

What happens if you don't use the modified exe? Does that just affect the number of teams in the EBEL?

The modified exe affects the number of teams in the EBEL and the Finn leagues import rules.

If you just use ArtMoney without the exe, you'll have just the rule changes (except the Finnish import rule change). The number of teams in the EBEL will remain unmodified.

Thanks for reply Archi :). This means that with this "rules change only" without exe EBEL teams will not cause crash? Sorry for noob question just want to have sure that my game will not crash after hard season in july 8-). Btw.: Do I have to run ArtMoney everytime I want to load save? Looks like new rules working only with ArtMoney.

No, the rule changes only will not cause a crash.

You're correct - you have to load the ArtMoney patch every time you load your game.

Step 7:

I have always been the number 2008 is in the table. (Value 39-43) :-? Bevor, the question, Do you want to convert your table to 32 bit mode? Yes..... 2008 is in the table. (Value 39-43)

It probably does not work with Win xp. :dunno:

I never tested it with Win XP. Did you try reloading the table multiple times?

So,

Game work (with 2008 in Art Money), but I do not know if the patch works. Austria have 10 Teams, with NA Start Date 3 games are played and Austria start date are 11-12 Games played.

The information about foreigners are not changed for half in league info. (Czech 3, russian 2 /3, Denmark no restrictions - remains unchanged)

Finland work (non 2, written in League Info)
Austria League: works (i tested to 2 july 2012)

Alessandro do you have edit the DEL (Germany)?

Do you have EHM selected from the drop down menu in ArtMoney? The drop down menu is near the top of the screen.

Are you running the eLicense version of the game? It won't work with the CD ROM version and probably not with the cracked version.

The screenshot indicates you're using 64-bit mode. You need to be in 32-bit mode.

I'm not entirely sure, but I think to switch back 32-bit you click on Search -> Options -> Searching -> Process Type -> Windows 32-bit. Try doing that right after loading ArtMoney and before you load the .AMT file.

I think so. I'm not 100% sure as ArtMoney seems to default to 32-bit upon loading and so I've never needed to change it back before.

In the list of values, how many digits are each of the numbers in the Address column. It looks from your original screenshot that they may be 16 digits long (8 digits = 32 bit and 16 digits = 64 bit).

Hmmm that doesn't make any sense to me... :-?

I might be mistaken, but didn't you have difficulty with the CSD Patch? Didn't we find that you had to use ArtMoney in addition to the CSD Patch in order to change the date? This would explain why the League Patch isn't working. It is because the values are stored at different addresses/offsets. I wish I knew why a very small number of users have some data (but not all data) located at different offsets!

Which Win-version do you use? I have win xp 32 bit and at me probably the patch works not correct. I have my problem still not solved.

It sounds like you both have similar difficulties. I wish I could figure this one out... ](*,)

You could try the following:

1) Load EHM and click on the New Game button (and select the database you want). This will take you to the League Select screen.
2) Load ArtMoney and apply the changes.
3) In EHM select the leagues you want and click on OK to start the game.

I don't expect this will work but it is worth a try.
